Extractions: The sun has always been an energy source. When your mom (or dad) hangs laundry outside to dry in the sun, they're putting the sun's heat to work. Plants also need the sun's light to make food. Plants change sunlight into food by using the heat from the sun to combine water and other elements to make food. The sun is used to heat up homes, swimming pools and even cook food. Electricity Plants Heat from the sun can be used to make electricity. There are places called solar power plants that make electricity. The one in California's Mojave Desert uses huge rows of curved mirror to reflect sunlight to a pipe running down a central point above the curve of the mirror. The sunlight causes the pipe to get so hot that water boils into steam. That steam is then used to turn a turbine to create energy. It makes enough electricity for more than 350,000 homes. Another solar power plant is the Central Tower Power Plant, a high tower circled by tons of mirrors that move so they always face the sun. The light is reflected to the top House with Solar Panels of the tower where a fluid becomes heated and can be used to boil water, which makes steam. The steam then turns a turbine. The problem with these solar plants is they only work when the sun is shining.

Extractions: Legal Statement I decided to develop Gary's Homework Help Page because children are getting more homework. Some of the homework requires additional resources that can set the stage for a battle between the student and the work. As a busy parent with two children, my wife and I spend a lot of time trying to help our kids figure out their homework when they need help. Some days we run out of energy trying to keep up with the demands of homework and other aspects of family life. I've tried other homework help sites and found many of them to be time consuming and cumbersome. In my profession, I've learned that it takes an extensive amount of time to locate useful information. This can be a significant deterrent for parents and students interested in using the Internet. The proliferation of search engines and index sites has made surfing the web time consuming and difficult to navigate. For the Internet to be worthwhile, it needs to produce pertinent information with one or two mouse clicks. As a Training Consultant, I spend a great deal of time using the Internet. As a parent, I decided to take the same skills and develop a web site for people who want to:
