Where the student's learning level significantly differs from that of classmates Where physical circumstances prevent classroom participation The periodical format and worksheet structure of Our Land Publications make this an ideal program for such instruction. Gifted and Talented (GATE) Whether a specific class for gifted and talented students is established or those students are included in the conventional elementary grade classroom, Our Land Publications are designed to provide them an organized curriculum which may be studied independently. Since lessons may be added or omitted without breaking continuity, students may work at their own pace. Since the programs are not "dumbed down," gifted students are challenged by content and do not become bored.
