Extractions: The results.. Moorlands is one of Australias oldest Hereford studs. Berry and Laurette Reynolds founded it in 1948. In 1969 following the death of Berry, Moorlands was taken over by Berrys son Roy and still today with help of his two sons Berry and Andrew. Moorlands have always been innovative and not shy to tackle challenges. These are illustrated by the following The first of two studs to import North American genetics, following the lifting of the ban in 1981. A pioneer in artificial insemination and embryo transfer technology. One of the first to establish its own herd recording system and to enroll with Saltbush The only stud to have exhibited the Grand Champion bull at the Sydney Royal Show for three different breeds Hereford, Poll Hereford and Red Angus.
