The 2000 Minnesota State Legislature passed new regulations about notification of pesticides use and Integrated Pest Management in Minnesota's K-12 schools known as (121A.30) Janet B. Johnson Parents' Right-to-Know Act of 2000. Section 1, subsection 8 of the new law states schools are not required to adopt an Integrated Pest Management plan.
