Extractions: KFFK Programs TV Show We are in the early development/fundraising stages of creating a weekly thirty minute television program. The focus of this program lies on the issue of Missing Children and the Crime of Non-Family Abduction for the purpose of Recovery, Education, Prevention and Awareness. We look forward to having our weekly program begin. I believe this will become a very important key in finding more kids who have been abducted. Oprah Winfrey once stated on her show that 41% of the missing children who are shown on television are recovered. This fact was from the ten-year summary "A Report Card to the Nation", September 1994, by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children." We believe that with a weekly television show the percentage rate will increase dramatically. One final note: A few years ago, the rock group Soul Asylum created and aired a music video called "Runaway Train" in which the faces of about 18 missing children were shown. As a direct result of this video, all but one of these children were reunited with their families
