Being interested in the Knights Templar as a military historian, I found this book to be not quite as it is named.Firstly, this is a reprint of an old book, which is out of date.The name of the book itself is misleading.
Secondly, and more importantly, this book discusses only the Knights Templar as organized in the Freemason Order the Great Encampment.
The third limitation of this Book is that it limits it discussion to organizational matters within the Sovereign Great Priory....somewhat akin to Q.R.&O.'s of the Canadian Armed Forces.

However, it is important to note that not all Knights Templar are Freemasons.As such, if the reader is interested in Freemasonry and how its KT Order is organized, then this book will be of interest. Otherwise, I would not recommend this book. ... Read more
