Features I Like:
*The general problem solving plan is generic, and I do not think it would interfere with any specialized plan a school may have adopted.

*This book is ideal for parent and children to read and solve together. Teachers would enjoy reading the book to the class. However, an oversized giant version of this book would work better for the classroom.

*I like that all types of addition and subtraction problems are thoroughly examined using animals to interest the children. Plus, they learn interesting facts about animals such as opossums stick out their tongues and play dead when threatened. Ring-tailed Lemurs tails are longer than their bodies. Do you know what one looks like? You can discover the answer while learning math.

EZ GMAT word problem
Some of the intricate problems need word translation instead of merely solving straight math and the math involved is not that tough but converting the words into mathematical expression can be a challenging task because most of these problems are quite verbose and mostly difficult to break. The EZ word problems book was a life saver when it comes to converting words into a math problem. This book is exclusively dedicated to solving different kinds of word problems broken down into different categories. I have some of the other books in EZ series which also has word problems, but going through this book first made it easier for me to understand them. If you are stuck on word problem, definitely get this book.

Great Book
The book is very easy to follow and explains the problems very clearly. It has some really good helpful tips and concrete examples. I also liked the fact that it is paperback and is easy to carry around.

I would have been a math whiz!This book needs to be owned by anyone who wants to improve his or her quantitative skills, not just an individual studying for the GMAT. In addition, this book breaks down each word problem in its simplest form.Sometimes the author gives you more than one option for solving the math word problem. Even if you have been out of college for 10 years, you can relearn word problems in one night because of this book.

I will be taking the GMAT in a few months. This book is the main reason that my GMAT practice scores have improved.
