4-0 out of 5 stars Courtesy of Teens Read Too
TRUTH OR FASHION, the second book in THE INTERNS series, picks up right where FASHIONISTAS left off.

Callie, everyone's favorite intern at Couture due to her new designs, is about to have her secret uncovered. Ava is hiding her own secret, one that could land her in major trouble. Nadine is working hard to figure out what it is, and Aynsley is busy...well, just being Aynsley.

TRUTH OR FASHION was definitely a step up from it's prequel. The characters were much more developed and the drama didn't entirely revolve around fashion. However, these are still what I consider guilty pleasures, mainly because of the excessive name-dropping and that fact that certain events are quite unrealistic.

But, despite that, I did enjoy it and recommend it to any fashion fanatics or anyone who just wants a quick, fun read.

5-0 out of 5 stars A to-die-for sequel - and that's the truth!
As an outsider looking in, New York City fashion magazine, Couture, looks like the perfect place to work. The offices are spic and span, and full of leggy glamazons traipsing through the halls in teetering sky-high heels, and this season's must-have Bitten jeans. The creativity found within is mind-boggling, filled with some of the industry's most fashion-savvy writers and socialites. And the hustle and bustle makes for a new experience everyday. Aynsley Rothwell, Nadine Van Buren, Ava Barton, and Callie Ryan thought the same thing. But looks can be deceiving. Now that the four girls have taken on internships at Couture, they've quickly realized that the fashion industry may be stunning, but it can also leave you overworked and underappreciated.

Since the Couture Cutting Edge Gala, Aynsley Rothwell has come to one very satisfying conclusion: she can hang on to her Couture internship, just as her parent's want, without lifting even one perfectly manicured finger. No, she doesn't have supernatural powers; just the power of knowing one very scandalous secret. Aynsley knows that Callie Ryan has lied about her Midwestern upbringing from day one. Sure, she'd love to spill the beans, and out the girl, but blackmailing her is so much more...classy. Callie will do Aynsley's share of intern duties, in addition to her own work, and everyone will be happy. Well, maybe not Callie...

Callie Ryan has been in New York City for less than two months and already all of her wildest dreams have come true. She's become one of the top two interns at Couture, she's proudly dating Aynsley's gorgeous brother, Julian, and, the crème de la crème...her designs have been discovered, and she's being featured in Couture. But Callie is anything but happy. Her designs, while completely her own, were created with silk-screened material that she purchased from a random guy named Quinn in Brooklyn. Callie thought she could pass them off as her own, but now Quinn is beating down her door, demanding that he receive credit where credit is due. Now Callie is forced to introduce him to the Couture editors, and come clean. But on top of juggling the work of two people (thanks to Aynsley), romancing Julian, and dealing with Quinn, Callie can't help but wonder if leaving the cozy comforts of her small Ohio town was the biggest blunder of her life.

Nadine Van Buren is sick of being the underdog at Couture. After a few fumbles, she wants to redeem herself as a celebrated intern. Unfortunately, no matter what she does, the editors can't seem to stop themselves from looking down their nose at her. Now, however, Nadine knows that her time to shine is upon her. With the friendly intern competition to create a ten-page feature spread underway, Nadine is convinced that she and her partner, Ava, have things in the bag. Now, as long as Nadine manages to keep herself from boozing it up on a nightly basis, she may just be able to make good on her promise - to win over the Couture editor's and prove that she has what it takes to make it in the high stakes world of high fashion.

From day one at Couture, Ava Barton has played the role of goody-two-shows to a T. Since her debut as a modern-day Cinderella at the Couture Cutting Edge Gala, however, little miss Ava has turned over a new leaf. Suddenly, she is full of confidence and happiness, and seems determined to cut a new pathway for herself in life. Her first mission is to take up the adorable Reese on his offer for coffee, and make nice with Nadine now that they're being forced to work with one another as a team. But just as the smile on Ava's face turns from fake to real, a blast from her past comes her way sending an icy chill up her spine, and forcing her to contemplate leaving Couture, New York City, and the fashion industry, in general, behind.

I absolutely adored Chloe Walsh's debut FASHIONISTAS, and honestly didn't believe that the sequel would be able to live up to its predecessor. I was wrong. TRUTH OR FASHION, if you can believe it, far surpasses FASHIONISTAS. Perhaps it's because I feel as if I have grown to know the characters more, or because, suddenly, there's a new sense of camaraderie between the four interns, but I honestly couldn't put TRUTH OR FASHION down. I have developed a soft spot for Callie, whom I slightly disliked in the debut. Aynsley's conniving, underhanded ways, while totally unethical, were entertaining. Ava has come out with a new type of confidence that makes me absolutely adore her. And Nadine, whose behavior made me slightly uncomfortable in FASHIONISTAS has taken on a whole new outlook on life. The fact that she has slowed down with her boozing really makes her shine, and adds to her appeal. The only thing that disturbs me is the sense of finality that I found at the end of TRUTH OR FASHION. I honestly hope that Chloe Walsh pens a third installment - I'd love to see what happens to these four fashionable, fabulous girls next. A to-die-for sequel - and that's the truth!

Ordered two books and was very impressed with the speed and condition they arrived here to Spain. Judge Judy does not dissappoint with her books, it is like hearing her on the T.V. ! No nonsense and tells it like it is! Very satisfied customer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't pee on my leg
Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me it's Raining is a GREAT book.I have read two other books by Judge Judy and I really appreciate her opinion and response to so many topics. She expects responsibility and accountability with no excuses. How refreshing. In this book she covers many social and government programs and their many faults - but provides insight into solutions. She's an amazing person!

5-0 out of 5 stars I love Judge Judy!
I am a big fan of Judge Judy. This book tells a lot about her background and history in the legal industry. She talks about common sense and what is wrong in our society today. Great book. I wish she would run for office.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gift Quality
I bought this for a birthday gift, not knowing if the cover would be in good shape. It was gently used and perfect for gift giving.

4-0 out of 5 stars Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It;s Raining by Judge Judy
Hey it's Judge Judy I love her. Outspoken but that is what makes her a good Judge. Many people come to court for nonesense and frankly I think they make themselves look foolish. Go Judge Judy you tell them. If you like Judge Judy you will enjoy the book.
