Diploma Re-Orders General Education Checks Once a student has completed 60 or more credit hours, an official General Education Check is recommended. Students should contact the Registrar's Office either in person or by phone to make an appointment for a check. The Registrar's Office begins accepting appointments at the beginning of the semester up to the tenth week of a regular semester (fall or spring) and up to the fifth week of a summer semester. New transfer students may apply for a general education check during their first semester at Southeastern. Transfer students should be prepared to supply course descriptions for all transfer courses appearing on the transcript. These descriptions will be used to determine course equivalencies. Application for Graduation At the beginning of the last semester of course work, students seeking a bachelor's degree should contact the Registrar's Office either in person or by phone to make an appointment for a final graduation check.
