Extractions: Hello OACRAOans, It is newsletter time, and therefore time for me to spill forth words of wisdom re-garding a matter of some importance. Prior to the Tuesday of the World Trade Center events, I had planned an article on leadership. I planned to tell you all of the difficulty that this years nominations committee had in identifying candidates for our executive board. I planned to talk of commitment to our professional organization and our responsibility to develop new leaders to whom we can pass the torch. I planned to thank Pamela Armstrong for agreeing once again to allow her name to be placed in nomination for the role of presidency, and to talk of the debt of gratitude we owe her. I planned to remind all of the degree of respect OACRAO has earned over the years, of the voice it has given us all in the matters of governance and state policy, and of our responsibility to support our professional organization. But then Tuesday happened and plans changed
