Pictures are vivid.Text is simple and interesting.Since I do the GEMS unit on Opossums I've been looking for a good book for read aloud k-1 or read to self 2-3, and this is the best one I've found (not much out there!).

Beautiful illustrations, cute story!
I bought this as a gift for my mother who donates her time to the local wildlife sanctuary, and one of her favorite animals is the Opossum.She absolutely loved it and keeps it with her when she does informational lectures for volunteers.

It's really a great book, has a lot of information on the Virginia Opossum. :)
