When you discover tracks leading out, but not back in, seal the hole with lumber, wire fencing or concrete. Skunks are diggers, so you will have to extend your barrier 12-18 inches below the surface. Remember, skunks are peaceful animals that will usually walk calmly away when disturbed - provided that you don't overreact. Spraying, is used only as a last resort when the animal feels seriously threatened.

When I searched the Internet for an internship, I wanted a facility that was as passionate about animals as I was. She is a one-year-old bobcat who is unable to be released. She was taken from her native environment at just a few weeks of age and raised as a domestic pet. She is too friendly to survive on her own so now must live her life in captivity.) Along with raising my babies, I was also able to learn about all of the animals here including the skunks, marmot, bobcat, opossums, deer and coyotes. I was taught how to give examinations of incoming animals, various medical procedures and how to care for the sometimes-sick animals that were admitted to the Centre. We had a chance to go on vet visits with different animals and also on occasion to go on an animal rescue.
