    Extractions: since February 4, 1999 Inclusive education means that all students in a school, regardless of their strengths or weaknesses in any area, become part of the school community. They are included in the feeling of belonging among other students, teachers, and support staff. The federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and its 1997 amendments make it clear that schools have a duty to educate children with disabilities in general education classrooms. This is your opportunity to help us shape national activities that link best practices to states, school systems, and families to improve results for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities served under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The purpose of the survey is to give all interested individuals - including individuals with disabilities, professionals in the field of special and general education, parents of children with disabilities, members of national organizations, and representatives of various levels of government - an opportunity to participate in the planning of the IDEA Part D National Program.
