There are many swing dance styles done today: the first and original swing dance is the Lindy Hop, which later became known as the Jitterbug and led to the 6-count dance now known as East Coast Swing. Popular in southern California is Hollywood Style , a variant of the Lindy Hop that has been danced in Los Angeles since the 1930's. West Coast Swing is another form of swing dance usually done to slower, bluesier music. In Europe and Australia, swing dance styles include the Boogie Woogie, Ceroc, Rock'n'Roll, etc.
