4-0 out of 5 stars 100 Questions You'd Never Ask Your Parents
I bought this book for my daughter who is turning 13.She is not an avid reader (to say the least). She actually loved this book and read 75 pages in one shot.

2-0 out of 5 stars My teens thought this was lame...
First, some of the items covered in the book are not really related to sex, but development and social items. Second, the voice in which it's written is, for lack of a better term.. baby-ish. I bought this with S.E.X and found that book to be FAR more useful. My kids actually laughed at this book, however they are mid-teens and we'd already had all the discussions covered by this publication. This is geared toward a younger set I think, so if you are going to give it to your child I'd say 12-13 is the target range, maybe 11 for more mature kids. I would not have bought this had I reviewed it in a store first..

5-0 out of 5 stars good questions, good answers
This book is perfect for my curious but shy teen.I recommend it to any parent who wants their child to have "the facts."

5-0 out of 5 stars A great and unique resource!
I read parts of this book and was thrilled. I immediately bought three copies for my teen-agers and will recommend it to other parents and teens. The questions are classics, and answers written in straight-forward, direct ways. They're written from one adult to another. I'm so pleased that this book was written and only wish I'd had it as a teen. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars It's not the 50's
I bought this book for my daughter and I'm very disappointed. I will be sending it back. I think the authors need a reality check. Kids need real facts not opinions from a biblical perspective & scripture. Way to religious for my taste! I'm very happy with other the books that I purchased and found them truthful and helpful.

4-0 out of 5 stars Necessary read for all teenage girls
As the mother of sons, I was curious about what types of questions girls were asking about sex. What a surprise! This book is enlightening for people of all ages about today's teen sexual culture.Sexual awareness is a parent's best tool for helping their teens stay pure. The book is very well organized and easy to read, even for the preteen. It's a great book for keeping on an accessible shelf for when "those" questions might come up or to give to the preteen and teen girls you love.

5-0 out of 5 stars JillJade
This book is a great read! It's filled with useful information and is provided in a format that is easy to comprehend. I was specifically interested in the section on pregnancy, it gives the adoption option that is not always spoken about now days. Adoption can touch so many lives and is often the best option. I wish this book was around when I was a teen!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Should be included in sex ed classes at school
I thought this book helped counter the myths and innuendo about sex that the kids of today seem to have.It is hard get the real facts about sex when the media distorts it so very much.Regardless of one's beliefs, I think that we can all agree that kids should have a proper launch into the sexual arena when the time comes.Hopefully, with books like this, it will be as adults in a loving friendship framed by marriage. The format was very teen-friendly and readable. When is the adult Unwrapped coming out?LOL

4-0 out of 5 stars boys will learn too
I had been reading the book for about a week when I suddenly realized that others in the home were reading it too.Husband and two teenage sons had picked it up and read some excerpts. It sparked a beneficial discussion about what they knew already and what they learned from the book.I think this is the best use of Unwrapped. It can help parents to bridge the gap between what your teens already know and what they NEED to know. The book is laid out so that teens can scan the topics and find a quick answer. No need to try and digest it all in one sitting. Most of the facts and information presented could be found elsewhere but with Unwrapped, it's all in one small, easy-to-read book.
I must admit, it was unsettling that the Islamic Qur'an was given authority alongside the teachings of the Christian Bible and the Jewish Torah in some instances and that Oprah got the last word but, overall, a good resource.

I got this book because I have slumber parties a lot. Well Its fun, but a lot of the quizzes are the same and it gets old after a while. Once you have taken the quiz and all your friends have too it's pointless. We got bored with it really easy.

Product Description
FOR FISHER BROWN, bearing the responsibility for the well-being and happiness of the people around him is a heavy burden to shoulder. Not long after his mother's sudden departure, Fisher lost interest in school and was well on his way to becoming a classic underachiever at school. But now--under the strict supervision of his high school counselor father--he is jockeying for position at the top of his high school class. It's a challenging role, and one he has doubts about. But as long as Fisher single-mindedly prepares for college and practices for the SATs, he can keep his father happy.

So when Fisher meets Lonnie Traynor, whose rootless, carefree existence is so markedly different from his own, he is drawn to his take-life-as-it-comes attitude. Lonnie easily cons him into accompanying him on a weekend outing that turns into an extended road trip. But Lonnie's footloose ways reveal a troubled man with a long history of letting down the people he loves. As Fisher becomes an unwitting participant in Lonnie's hapless adventure, he begins to rethink what it means to be responsible for other people. In the end Fisher finds his way home as well as a way to redefine his own complex relationships. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Courtesy of Teens Read Too
Study, study, study. Fisher Brown is a junior in high school and his life consists of studying. Son of the high school guidance counselor, Fisher feels the pressure to excel in academics.

Ever since the day Walt Brown's wife left and never came home, he has focused his life on doing the best for his son. He leaves inspirational sticky notes everywhere, and urges Fisher to make every effort count. "THE BIG DAY" is coming up - the SAT test - and he considers it Fisher's ticket to a scholarship and an Ivy League school.

A week before the SAT, Fisher's grandmother is scheduled to be moved into a nursing home. Mr. Brown agrees that Fisher should stay at home and study while he takes care of the move. He knows Fisher is dependable and can take care of himself over the weekend and get himself to school the following week, so he can concentrate on getting Grandmother moved.

However, no one counted on Fisher meeting Lonny, a drifter whose brother lives next door to the Brown's. When Fisher's dad leaves on his trip, Lonny invites Fisher to take the weekend off from studying to help him with a little project. The two take off by Greyhound bus on what Lonny promises to be an adventure.

THE REAL QUESTION takes Fisher on an amazing and at times dangerous journey. His experience, although taking him away from home, helps him learn more about himself, his dad, and perhaps see another side to the mother who left years ago. Adrian Fogelin's writing is filled with humor, emotion, and heartwarming characters that make the story truly remarkable. This is a book well worth having in any collection.
