"UNPREDICTABLE"
I always need to purchase an engagement calendareach year to keep appts. and birthdays, etc. up to date.

This calendar is a terrific one because of the photography.I began my photography over 30 years ago in high school, and so many of the photos in this calendar are the type I love to take: sunsets/rises, storms & aftermaths, snow...
All the facts and history that are listed through out the calendar are interesting and facinating to read too.

Misleading picture! No temperature chart this year...
We bought this Weather weekly calendar book in 2007 and 2008 too. We especially enjoyed taking daily temperature readings outside and filling in the temperature chart foldout that is inside the book. But this 2009 edition does not come with the foldout, despite the picture of it that appears at the top of this book's Amazon web page! Disappointing. We'll have to figure out another way to produce a 2 foot long chart...

Traditional awesomeness
I have been buying the Weather Guide calendar for years now, (80's?) though this year (2010) was a near thing. Maybe the banks have money now, but it is getting tighter for me. Still I managed it as a holiday present.

It is always a treat to see the glory of nature and it's weather.January has a brilliant red aurora streaking, apparently, from out of a mountain.It looks all the world like a volcanic explosion.

The numbers are large enough to see from across the room and there are interesting weather histories yet there is still enough room for notes.There is a lot of information on the page between each month as well.There are extra small pictures with the same theme each month.In January they have a red white and blue aurora. The spring months almost always feature tornadoes and December almost always has ice, a ice cave, a iceberg or such.

I hope I can always have the current year calendar hanging behind my computer.

Weather Trivia
This was purchased as a gift but the 2009 calendar that I gave last year was greatly appreciated by a weather buff.My daughter-in-law hung it in her office and she and her colleagues all enjoyed the weather info.

Weather Guide...2010 Wall Calendar
I have been getting this calendar for more years than I can remember.At first, I used to purchase it directly from the original company, then from a calendar company but the last two years, from Amazon.I always order 2.One for me and one for my son who takes his to work.Hard to describe this calendar.The photos are truly beautiful.Every day has an interesting tidbit listed of some type of weather happening from another year.In between each month, two pages are devoted to weather facts, climate data, etc.I guess I can best describe it by saying that my son says many of his co-workers are intrigued by this calendar and want to know where he gets it.You don't have to be a weather "geek" to like this calendar but if you are, then you really would want one. ... Consistent awe
For me, this calendar is a necessity.I have gotten the Weather Guide for years now. With an Earth Science (Geology) degree and experience with Wisconsin and Oklahoma weather, and a family interest in photography, this calendar is the primary calendar for behind the computer.All of the photos are absolutely spectacular, the daily weather history notes are always good and the additional information between the months brings another facet to weather.This year, the focus is on 'Weather and the Movies' and yes, 'Wizard of Oz' is there, the March feature.
If you want to be astounded by the power and glory of Nature, this is a beautiful and useful purchase.

Always amazing
This is an annual purchase for me since heaven knows when.It's always terrific. This years front cover shows a 'wedge' tornado directly on a dirt road, coming toward the photographer, someplace I wouldn't like to be.I can't imagine my wall behind my computer without it. ... Read more

Better than advertised
This calender looked interesting online, and it turned out to be even better than advertised. It is packed with interesting climate and weather information, plus very nice pictures. Definitely worth the money!

Great Pics
Would buy again next year.Each date on calendar has a different weather event (and not just stuff from 1812 or 1902- a lot of current events).Detailed pictures.

Superb calendar for your storm/ weather/ tornado enthusiasts
I found out about this calendar a few years ago. Ever since then , I make sure I find and order the new year one (they are hard to get in stores). Superb photos of tornadoes and storms (some by some of my stormchasing buddies) , great information about storms and weather on each day in the calendar, outstanding resources for class use. Great reads on the calendar dates about amazing weather events. You will find that not only do you look at the pictures for the month, but get more insight into weather by reading all the facts ,information and much more. The photos are spectacular. My quest someday is to have one of my photos on this calendar! It is a great buy. I keep them for resources throughout the years as well. The photos are that good and veryhigh resolution unlike a calendar I bought a few years ago (I mean the person who published that one had very low resolution pics and looked like he copies from other stormchasers etc. These are the real deal.

good, but not as great as previous years
Some of the photos don't have much to do with weather.and the most annoying...one of the pictures is a video capture and is very low quality.I have come to expect more from them from previous years.

Incredible calendar!
I have been given the Weather Calendar for a number of years now.It has incredible pictures and short explanations of different weather phenomena.Since it hangs in my classroom, my students love seeing the different pictures and talking about the various weather patterns.

Very nice calendar, with amazing photographs. Each day has a trivia fact about weather, which is nice for weather watchers, or even for discussion with the kids each day over breakfast, which is what we do. Because there is a trivia fact written in each day's square, it wouldnt be a good calendar for writing appontments, important dates, etc.
