Comprehensive Resource Book
Although some information in this book has been included in CRFG "Fruit Gardener" magazines, consolidated that information along with new information in this book has been a valuable resource for me.This book includes comprehensive propagation information, several lists of cultivars with descriptions, and growing advice.I purchased the electronic version but am now considering purchase the print version, despite the higher price.I believe I'd find it handy to have copies of both since it's easy to search for a term in the electronic copy but sometimes flipping from section to section would be easier in the print version.Thanks for a fine book.

Valuable Resource Book
I have had people that have commented they have searched for years for a book like this about pomegranates. Useful for some.

The paperback version sold here is rather expensive compared to the electronic edition (only $7) available from the publisher, Third Millennium Publishing.

If you are not a reader of the CRFG publication "The Fruit Gardener", then the electronic edition is well worth the investment.You will find the quality of photos in the electronic edition is better.

However, if you do read "Fruit Gardener", you will be disappointed to find that the majority of the book is material previously published in that periodical, or repeatedly referenced by the magazine, or found elsewhere in college-level horticultural textbooks, Agriculture Extension publications, etc.

Comprehensive Review of An Awesome Fruit!
I am a Jujube enthusiast. I have several trees on my property and often find myself giving the delicious fruit away to coworkers, friends and family. When I found out there was a book solely based on the growing of Jujubes, I had to buy it. It is a very comprehensive book on a plant that deserves more credit. If you are a hobby orchardist like myself, or just looking for a great fruiting or landscape tree, look into jujubes. and if you need a guide on growing and caring for your tree, as well as a sourcebook for some of the best jujube varieties buy this book!

Great Resource Book for a Great Fruit
This book is meant to be a tribute to the Chinese jujube. There is just is not another book out there that describes the Chinese jujube with such colorful pictures and details. The Chinese jujube is a great fruit that has not gotten much attention but will grow in most of this country(USA.) It is so easy to grow and produces such consistant crops of fruit with few problems. There are interesting stories about how the Chinese jujube came to be in America and about the "lost" jujubes. Interesting recipes are included for uses of jujubes so that you can enjoy jujubes yeararound with the preservation methods cited. Dr. Ashton Carter evaluated various U.S. military options, and Dr. Vali Nasr described likely Iranian reactions and other potential impacts. Ambassador Richard Haass considered the challenges of living with a nuclear Iran.
