Horrible shipping
I purchased this (Nov 7, 2009) book and immediately had issues. After hitting the confirmation button I realized that (because I live at an APO) there should be no USA identifier to keep the book from being stopped by customs. I immediately emailed the company and recieved the response that "the order is too far along in the shipping process to be changed". Then I didn't recieve a shipping confirmation until Nov 12. Too far along in the process eh... So it apparently took them 5 days to ship a book when in the emails I expressed a need to have the book within 10 days and offered to pay for expedited shipping. So time goes by...my class is ticking by with no book, DESPITE 9 other people ordering the exact same book from Amazon and recieving it within 14 days. Time for the FINAL, still no book! good thing my instructor had an extra she let me borrow. I email again 30 days into shipping and am asked to "give it another week" pretty much I told them to shove it, my class was done and I had no reason to keep a $70 book after my class is finished. I recieve the book Dec 11, 2009, two days AFTER my final and 34 days after ordering!!! I would absolutely tell everyone NEVER order from this company. There is no reason that a book should ship in 5 days, and take 34 days from the time of order to get to any address, especially when 9 other companies can get it to you in 2 weeks. The only positive, when I requested my refund, they had it to me that day- must be pretty common... ... Read more

Essential books, non-essential instruments book!
The Essentials books are great, I have made good use of them. However, I expected to be receiving actual dental instruments, not just another book. And I have not yet found the instruments book to be helpful whatsoever. The descriptions are vague and again just not all that helpful. ... Read more
