Less than perfect
This is a nice little book with lots of nifty stories about La Fonda. If you've just visited this unique hotel and want a momento, this book is excellent. The serious historian however will find it disappointing. It isn't especially well researched and it lacks depth. If it was less than I hoped, it was more than I had any right to expect. ...
