Excellent Aid for Production of Period Works
I was excited from the time I opened the package. The volume has high quality photographs printed on gloss pages.The photographs represent a broad spectrum of works by superior funrniture makers.The comprehensive text explained the obvious and not so obvious distingtions in form, format, style, constrution approach, and a host of like details.

Anne's Love Song
Like the writer whose book review precedes mine, I was also an 11-year-old boy when the impossibly-beautiful Honey West made me a believer in love at first sight... well, okay... infatuation at first sight.

THE REAL ANNE FRANCIS
Being an 11-year-old boy in 1965, it was almost inevitable that I fall in love with Honey West, personified by Anne Francis in the TV show of the same name. And I have been intrigued by this underrated actress and greatbeauty ever since. And so it was with great interest that I picked up thisrare copy of Anne's self-told story. This autobiography by Ms. Francis isnot what the usual gossip-hunting reader might be expecting.Although itdoes relate the main events of the actress' life in fairly chronologicalorder, the main thrust is not the events themselves, but rather how thoseevents changed Ms. Francis and caused her to have a spiritual awakening andevolution that apparently continue to this day. The book is uplifting andoffers many words of wisdom. It is more a "New Age" tale ofenlightenment than a story of Hollywood shenanigans. Indeed, the Honey Westperiod of Ms. Francis' life is given a short two or three pages of bookspace. The bulk of the volume is dedicated to Anne's "findingherself," for want of better words. Thus, this is very different fromyour typical star story. Anyone who is interested in the real AnneFrancis--a deeply spiritual and questioning woman-- should pick up a copyof this short book.
