Why Buy It? Because I said so!
Feminists, Lesbians, and Bad Girls alike will enjoy this book whether or not they identify as Femme.This text serves to focus attention on Femme issues and could be of use to anyone - queer, questioning, straight, etc.who is searching for a broader understanding of the topic.By that sametoken, it could also be a good resource for butches who are in need of alittle "schooling" (you know we love you!).While I preferredthe less academic contributions, the text in its entirety would be anexcellent addition to any Lesbian or Women Studies class.I appreciate theeditors efforts to include voices from diverse backgrounds, styles, andperspectives.I especially liked the contributions of Gaby Sandoval andLisa Ortiz who used a more narrative, casual style and spoke of personalexperiences.It is always a pleasure to read works by well-known authors,yet it is important for new voices to have a venue in which to be heard.Harris and Crocker have done a fine job mixing such a wide variety ofstyles.This book has something to offer everyone and is a must forLesbian/Gay collectors. ... I surrender to personal and business success!!
I surrender and have been saved in my business!!I really enjoyed reading this book. I set a goal to read a chapter a day so I could work on each lesson and build it into my personal life and business. Unfortunately, after day two I found myself reading ahead was shocked when I reached the end of the book still wanting more!!

Just what I needed!!!
When I started my own business, I ran into so many obstacles. In a way you think you have all your points covered but it's so easy to get caught up and lose your focus on the business as a whole. I started reading some great books but the one that stuck out and became my favorite was "Surrender to Win" by Laura Harris.

It is an excellent book because you can relate to the author. You can appreciate the difficulties a person endures when starting a business and how easily you can lose your grip. There are so many parts of the business that need your attention but you can't do it all :) Laura has put together important operational processes, which I was lacking. It helped me re-focus and see my business from a different prospective that is influential to positive growth.

If you apply the techniques from this book, you will see immediate results. It's a good read and I highly recommend it!

Laura has nailed it with "Surrender to Win".Whether you are a seasoned pro, just starting a new business, or somewhere in between, this book has dozens and dozens of ideas to start new processes in your business or make improvements to existing ones.

Her format for the book makes this VERY EASY for anyone to not only get great ideas, BUT at the end of each chapter provides thought provoking questions and gives the reader an action plan to run with.Most authors miss this critical point.There are not shortage of great ideas in this world, but without a plan of action for these ideas, that's all they are, great ideas.

Don't miss out on this book, it is a must for every entreprenuer's library.The introduction alone raised the hair on my arms.It was if Laura was in the room reading her book to me, powerful stuff!!!
