Good for the hobbyist
The final goal of this book is to build up an analog synthesizer a very easy way. For those "do it yourself" guys who enjoy and triumph over themselves by constructing everything and take pictures of them besidethe appliance, it is ok. But it will also be useful for those audio fanswho would like to understand the principles of analog synthesis, being thebasis of the understanding of the appications of DSP for audio.

Full of textual & conceptual errors, most circuits wont work
I bought this book mail order some years ago, an was amazed that anyone could print such junk. The circuits are conceptually wrong, the supporting text often describes impossible circuit action.Anyone building stuff fromthis book will be in for big dissapointment - I'm a degree qualifiedelectronics engineer and a keen musician. Books like this can ruinenthusiasm for electronics /electronic music as you'll spend lots of cashon components and build circuits that are totally useless. If you want tobuild analogue synth projects, the Net is the best resource at the moment. ... Read more
