couldn't put it down
a carefully crafted novel full of suspense, action, and enough romantic promise that kept me turning the pages even when i should have been doing far more productive things with my day.

hunter is considering giving up the violent life that she's led, but it's not as easy as it sounds, especially when a mysterious woman lands on her doorstep in dire need of protection...

One of the better selections from Bold Strokes Books
This is a well-written page turner about a female assassin who's trying to leave her old life behind.

Seems retirement from a life of vengeance and a cold, closed heart is fertile ground for a love at first sight, highly emotional lesbian love affair... what more could be as therapeutic for such a messy childhood?

Nothing like another woman's acceptance and affection to just open your heart and change you from villain to superhero... though one might conclude this former assassin is sexy in any role she takes on. I'd love to read the prequel...

I could really visualize this story so vividly that I kept thinking it would translate easily into a pretty good action flick.I read it over the weekend and had a hard time putting it down.It's not the sexiest book I've ever read, but overall it takes you on a pretty good ride.There's some violence, but nothing over the top.

If you can suspend your disbelief about love at first sight (or touch)... it's otherwise rather plausible and paced for some decent suspense. Not too predictable. I very much enjoyed the snowy, remote setting... and Kat ("Hunter") is a pretty cool character.

This is definitely one of Bold Strokes Books better selections... totally hit or miss with this publisher (which publishes many new/developing writers)... but this one is a definite hit.I imagine Radclyffe (president/publisher/author) recognized as much since at the end of this novel she shamelessly dedicated two and a half pages to promoting her own books under a heading "Other Books Available From Bold Strokes Books." I was annoyed to not find varied authors there to look over.But whatever. Kim Baldwin's book blows on anything Radclyffe's published. Hands down.

Thrilling adventure - couldn't put it down!
This was my second Kim Baldwin book and I am now hooked! Hunter's Pursuit is a well written, thrilling adventure that I didn't want to end. I loved the characters and I hope there is a sequel. This is the first book out of hundreds I have read that inspired me to write a review. Highly recommended!!

Gripping story, I couldn't stop turning the pages
Hunter, a retired bounty hunter rescues a lady from a car wreck and takes her home to her underground bunker to recuperate. The lady is suffering from temporary memory loss, leaving Hunter with no clues to who this mysterious woman is. Her close friend has informed her that she has a bounty on her head. Time is ticking for Hunter as she juggles nursing a woman back to health who she is becoming attracted to and protecting them both from the assassins out to earn the lucrative bounty money.

The attraction between the two women is intense and Hunter struggles to accept that she may have a chance of true happiness after all. Is it at a cost? She knows that a female bounty hunter has accepted the task of hunting her down, has Hunter inadvertently let her in.

I haven't read a book as quickly as this one in a long time, I couldn't put it down and I didn't want the story to end.
