Great hard science fiction.
This book begins as the first in a nine book series and left me wanting to read the next book as soon as possible. I even went so far as to contact the author about the second book and have read the transcript of part II. Great Conversational Book!
I took this book to the beach with my girlfriends and found the stories to be interesting, informative and made for great conversation!

The GetOnTheCouch Website Wrapped Up in a Book!Love It!
This is absolutely awesome.I'm a huge fan of [....].I've been getting relationship advice from the website for the past year.One of my biggest regrets is that I'm unable to read the content while traveling in my car, or riding the NYC Subway.This book is an ideal carry-along.It's essentially a "Best of" for fans of the site.Supposedly they are coming out with a Volume 2 that will include more content from the site.For loyal fans, there is a high probability that questions you logged, or answers you posted will actually wind up in paperback.Nothing beats seeing your words in print!

If you're a fan of the site, or just seeking relationship advice in general, I would highly recommend this book.

Get on the Couch - a great read; interesting as well as informative
I'm a fan, lock, stock and barrel.This book is an outstanding compliment to the "Get on the Couch" website. Most of us can easily relate to the stories depicted in the book.I found myself reading and thinking it was written just for me and finding ways to incorporate the advice into my personal situations.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for relationship advice.

The possibility of treating cancer, a disease frequently defined by
genetic defects, by introducing genes that target these very
alterations has generated tremendous enthusiasm. This enthusiasm,
however, has been tempered by an increasing number of obstacles to
successful therapy, including vector systems that do not reach systemic
metastases, therapeutic genes with redundant mechanisms allowing for
cellular resistance, and toxicities in clinical trials that result in
premature closure. The three comprehensive sections of this volume
present currently available cancer gene therapy techniques, with
specific attention to these trouble spots. Part I describes the various
aspects of gene delivery including vehicles, or vectors, and their
respective characteristics and production methods. In Part II, the
contributors discuss strategies and targets for the treatment of
cancer, including methods for cell-death therapies, correction of
underlying genetic defects at the molecular level, and activation of
the immune system or tumor microenvironment. The contributors provide a
succinct framework for understanding the basic underlying oncogenic
changes, which encourages the development of vectors engineered to
exploit these gene mutations through selective spread of the vector in
tumor cells with the specific changes. Finally, in Part III, experts in
clinical gene therapy trials discuss the difficulties inherent in
bringing gene therapy treatment for cancer to the clinic, and principal
investigators present gene therapy approaches in the clinical testing
stage and the results that have reached the stage of clinical
