Elle a débuté comme membre du groupe de filles de musique populaire Baby V.O.X, entre 1999 et 2005. Elle est ensuite devenue actrice : elle doit sa popularité et sa notoriété à son rôle de princesse héritière dans la série télévisée « Les Heures d'une princesse » (également connue sous le nom « Goong ») . Quand le groupe de filles Baby V.O.X a perdu l'un de ses membres suite à un scandale, Yoon a été choisie pour la remplacer. It is a serial riddled with love, sex, betrayal, social reform, family tradition, religious collision, and much more.
