My purpose in writing this book is to provide the evidence needed to spark reform of state No Fault Divorce laws which always grant a divorce requested by one spouse. The current law in 49 states allows one spouse to file for a divorce on grounds of "irreconcilable differences,” and obtain the divorce in every case. What’s wrong with that? In 80% of the cases their spouses believe the marriage is recon-cilable. The uniform granting of every divorce violates Constitutional guarantees of “due process of law.” How can there be due process if the spouse who wants to save the marriage always loses? That is un-just as well as unconstitutional.

If children are involved, it is tragic. Children need to be brought up by their own married mother and father. The best parents are married parents. “About 28% of our nation’s children – more than 20 million kids – will go to bed tonight without their father in the home. These children are much more likely to fail in school, to become pregnant as teenagers and to get in trouble with the law,” asserts Professor Brad Wilcox of the University of Virginia.

Therefore, this book proposes that if there is no major fault alleged, such as adultery or physical abuse, in cases of couples who have children – that no divorce would be granted unless both the mother and father agree. This would replace No Fault Divorce with Mutual Consent Divorce in cases involving children. It's a plea for more useless legislation
And just why do we *want* to cut the divorce rate in half? Do we not believe in individual rights? Then, even if the book had bothered to convincingly establish that, why a federal government solution? States rights are already severely subsidized through carrot and stick programs.

Besides all that, we could do *much* better than cutting the divorce rate merely in half. All we need to do is become a fundamentalist Muslim society.

Good book for learning VBScript
I thought this was a pretty good introduction to VBScript. It had severalgood examples and explanations. It was a lot more practical and informativethan most of the other books I looked at.

Only VB Script v1.0 covered, no features of v2.0+.
The book doesn't cover any of the added features of VBScript v2 and above. The book covers the VBScript that came out with Internet Explorer 3.0. Although the VBScript 1.0 features that are covered are covered well, themany added functions added in VBScript v2 are missing, such as constants,private and public variables, automatic string joining and splitting intoarrays, and much more.The features not covered work in Internet Explorerv4.0+ and Outlook 98 (which come with VBScript v3.0+)

Not a good book for leaning VBscript
I was looking for a book that would teach me VBscript. (I have some programming experience.) Though I learned quite a bit from this book, many explanations needed to be more complete and left me to figure them out by experimenting. Not a good reference - no index of commands (most, but not all, are covered in general index in back).

Absolutly the Best book on VBScript and ActiveX out there!
I work for Microsoft, and use VBScript daily.I have a dozen or so books that I used to reference while doing web design. Now I have everything I need in one book.While most books try to cover it all, this book gives a brief overview and then gets right to the meat of the subject.If you are a complete beginner try another source.For everyone else, this is it! ...
