Awesome!

It was a delight to read Lance Bass's memoir, `Out of Sync'. The normally soft-spoken nice guy of Nsync let the truth out on a number of things. First & most important to longtime fans who fondly remember plastering their walls with Nsync posters, Lance reveals what caused the band to break up. He doesn't pull any punches, but his dry wit does reveal his true feelings on the subject. We learn of the band drifting apart, mainly due to one member going solo. (I wonder who that could be.) Also, Lance talks about how he felt being closeted & how he became too co-dependent in his relationships with men.

What really struck me about the book concerning the band was how Lou Pearlman, their former manager (amongst other job titles), exploited them & refused to pay them what was due. It's hard to believe that while I was listening to `Tearin' Up My Heart' & other hits, these guys were living on $35/day. Fortunately, they found a means to disassociate with Pearlman legally & enjoyed financial success with their second & third albums.

But Lance really opens up his heart & writes his painful story of becoming true to himself that really touched me. He hasn't had very much success dating, has had his heart broken a few times, but he has hopes for the future. I think it was right of him to write about how his mother had difficulty with his sexuality due to their religion, but Lance assured her he still believed & that god had made him that way.

It was a short, quick read without any embellishments, just the plain truth written by a man who has become comfortable & happy in his own skin.

PS: I do hope Nsync makes another album one day.

Out of Sync
If you were a fan of *NSYNC and loved Lance, you'll love this book.It is very well written and it isn't what you'd call a "sappy" memoir.It is an emotional rollercoaster right from the beginning.The 180 pages were not enough, by the time I finished the book I was begging for more.I would recommend it to anyone.

I've always liked Lance so I was excited to hear about this book.It was a good, fast, easy read.I enjoyed it!

Honest and Sincere Memoir
OUT OF SYNC by Lance Bass is a thoughtful, honest piece of work from Lance Bass.The book is short and provides some definite insights into the man he is.Lance is 27 and has lived thru a lot during those years.He is also gay and with his innocent religious upbringing this was difficult for him to express.Growing up he knew 100% that it was true but he didn't even consider having the right to come out.

His childhood is described mostly in regardsto his history with and development of his singing.NSYNC and their journey take up a great portion of the book.Reading the history of the group is very interesting.

I give this book 4 stars not because it is a huge literary achievement or because it is filled with immense soul searching revelations.Let me change thange.For Lance they are life changing, soul searching revelations.Why I give this book 4 stars is because it is truly the written word of Lance Bass.It is not toyed with to great extent by a publisher to make it more intense.It actually reads like a diary in the sense of it being the real Lance Bass.You experience his wonder, joys, pains and revelations.

You also get the impression that Lance Bass has a huge heart.He is still innocent at 27 but has a good head on his shoulders and is well prepared to face his future.He wraps the book up with some deep insights and they are honest and touching.

The media was prepared to attack him with the knowledge of his being gay.He had great respect for his family and how they may be affected.He handled the situation responsibly and did what he needed to do for himself.Writing this book I'm sure was cathartic for him but it also is for the reader.I thank him for sharing a part of his life journey openly and holding nothing back.

His being gay is a part of him the same as anything else - he is still Lance Bass and by sharing his story I'm sure he will help other people, young and old, deal with their sexuality. ... Read more

Joshua Scott Chasez is fine!!!
This book taught me so much about JC. I knew a lot but I learned so much more about him. If you think that JC is the hottest guy on earth (which he is) then this book is for you! I love you JC baby!

Great nsync book
This is a great book to get for any *NSYNC fan.It has several great pics in it of each of the guys.It also has a lot of great facts in it about the guys.It does not have any of that rumor or "he said, shesaid" stuff that we often hear.It is stuff that they know to be trueabout the guys.It is a book to get if you are loyal fan and you want toget more pics of those five cuties.I would recommend this book toanymore.I have had it know for months and I still look in it all thetime.A must get and this is a great price too, believe me , I shop aroundat the bookstores where I live and amazon.com is way the better deal.

An okay sort of book
This was the very first *NSYNC book I got, and I loved it at first sight. I mean, I still like it. It's pretty informative...mostly stuff you could find out in any other book. The pictures are the best part. Some of the pictures a little old, though.It's a pretty good gift for the younger generation of fans, or the freaky fans like me.

So-so
Okay, this book is pretty good...it was my very first *NSYNC book and I think it's got some pretty good stuff in it.

Of course, it is unauthorized, which means the guys didn't stamp their names on it, and it has some inaccuracies in it.Of course, you might not notice it if you weren't a freak like me.

I think this is a great gift for a young fan...however, if you're older or a freak like me, then this definitely is a bit beyond your obsession for these hot and talented guys.

This is a cool Nsync book!
Well I know that I am a big fan of Nsync, and to read this book makes me fall in love with this group all over again...it gives 411 on the group and it has wonderful and beautiful pictures (and I mean BEAUTIFUL!) I know this isn't the best description but if your a true Nsync fan than you need to go buy this cuz it is awesome book and it is a great keepsake!!

All about Lance
I'm by far the biggest Lance fan, I have almost every Lance thing you can think of. From books to shirts to pics so whensaw this book I had to have it. He is so cute and oh so HOTT! I just could not pass it up. Yes it is small and some of the facts are stuff you already may have heard but with all the cute pictures it was well worth it.I hope you takes this message to heart and do what you want,but if you are as big a Lance fan as me you will love it.

Lance is soooooo hot!
I think this book is great. I would buy it for anyone!basically because i am in love with lance!i mean, was he naturallaly born cute or what?everyone will enjoy this book. Although it talks about the same stuff that most nsync fans already know, if you love lance as much asi do, this book will keep you staring at his cute photo's for hours!

Not worth the money
Now, I love 'N Sync as much as the next fanatic, but I mustadmit after receiving this book, I felt a little...gipped.It isextremely small, not to mention short.It is filled with pictures we've all seen a million times.The facts and pictures are completly outdated, and the book is smaller then your hand.I suppose that would make it "cute and tiny" but I'd rather spend my 5 bucks plus S&H on something bigger, better, and frankly, worth my money.

The cutest little book about Lance!
This little book was really short but it was so cute! It had tons ofpictures of Lance in it. There wasn't that much info but it was worth themoney. It's one of those books you can read over and over again and not gettired of. I loved it and I highly recommend (especially if you love Lancelike I do)!

NSYNC is cool
I think NSYNC is really cool. I've met them before they were famous which was really wicked and they're sooo down to earth. I mean BSB is well kinda..conceited if you ask me. That lifelong amount of fame has gotten totheir heads but NSYNC is really nice and everything to their fans. I'm not"obsessed" or anything. I'm not really a fan but Lance is prettycool. My special nickname for him is "Blonde Boy" and JC"Dude in the White Shirt" lol this was WAY before anyone knew whothey were but like I totally support them in anything they do. They're niceguys.

nsync is the number one band and they have the awards to prove it justin alone has won 3 and the group to many to count and if i gave the awards away they would get everyone of them even though i only met joey and onlyjoey he was really cool about taking his personal time to come and signautographs well go nsync and buy every book out there everyone.

He's hot! But too self centered!
Okay I have to admit he is hot, and this book is good. But only if you are CRAZY over him. I mean u know everythin in this book already if you are a big fan so why buy it? And don't you think it isn't fair that Justin gets all these books and I havn't even seen one for the other guys. So girlz, move on! He is way too self centered! His fav song is 'God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On Me!' But I do agree, he is the hottest guy on earth. And the book is pretty good, except I know all the info in it.

It was ok I guess
I thought this book was "helpful for justin lover beginners" but if you bought the book because it had a Picture of Justin of the cover for being a big Nsync fan, its really not worth it. The best part of the book is in the back of the book a Justin quiz. Its really fun to play with your friends so overall its a ok book.

If you like Justin it's a must have. But there were a few errors in it. Like it said at one part that Justin's mom was Lisa. So, I don't know. But it wasn't a book you had to keep reading cause you couldn't put it down. Ididn't even finish reading it, cause it was all stuff I have alreadylearned from magazines and off the television. Don't waste your money on this book
I think that this book doesn't live up to the title that it deserves. Basically, it's a book that tells you everyhting about 'N Sync that most people know all ready. There are a few pictures, but they are not thatgreat. I advise to actually get a book you'll enjoy and find outinformation that you don't know yet about 'N Sync!

This book was okay and interesting, but it is basically a bunch of quotes and things the guys have already said to other people.If your looking to get a book on them with new information, I recommend the Official Book.If your looking for pictures and something about your fave band, then go aheadand get it.

Interview, Fact, And ,Picture, Book
In the realm of unofficial *NSYNC this fairs better than others. Chapters feature excerpts fromother publications, such as the group's "'N The Mix" Official Video. Much of the pages fill out with a teen magazine full of facts most fans, are already aware of. There is little actual interviews.
The good at least it is factual. There is a good amount of reading to do, and lots of amazing glossy photos.

This book is a must have for all the *NSync Fans!
In deed this is a great book where you can learn how the *NSync guys started their career 'till our days! If you wanna know more about these handsome guys you have to buy this book right now!

Lots of typos and false facts...
I just got this book and could not believe how many errors werein it! Not just typos, but the author and editor often came up shortwhen it came to correct facts about the guys. The only part I sort of liked were the guys' bios, which were a nice change from the usual name:, birthdate:, favorite food:, format most articles use. They read like novels, but the downside to that is that the author feels the need to use a lot of melodramatic descriptions for filler that probably are not accurate (it IS an unauthorized bio). There's also a lot of repetative info used, and that makes it a bit annoying. Skip on this one and try another NSYNC book.

This book has a ton of photos and is so tiny! It's like having your own diary about them. It says all sorts of stuff about there lives and what they do in there free time. AHHHHH. I love it!
