Mary- Kate and Ashley Sweet 16 Starring you and me
In this story Mary- Kate and Ashley are playing themselves two 16-year old girls that live in LA.
Ashley was at the mall and she thought that the guy in the record shop looked like someone she knew. Turns out that it was her ex-boyfriend Brain and there other really close friend Penny. It was odd to see them in there because they don't live in LA, they live in Seattle. The reason that they were in town was because they are meeting their manager for their CD. Well it turns out that there CD Sweetbriar's is not doing to well and if they can't bring up their sales then they can not have a CD anymore.
When Mary-Kate and Ashley got together to think about what they where going to do to help their friends they came up with nothing. Until, suddenly Mary-Kate thought of the most superb thing. They will put on a concert for them and have the best DJ there. The best DJ in LA is Wild Will. But the trouble came when they didn't know how to get Wild Will there. They try a whole bunch of things to get a hold of them but they just couldn't.
Even though they look like they don't have problems, they sure do. Mary-Kate is having trouble with the Drama Club. Ashley is having boy trouble.
But in the End everything turned out okay.

Best MKA book I have! (And I have about 30+)
This book is #5 in MKA's "Sweet Sixteen" series for teenage girls.
With these books, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen star as themselves, two 16-year-olds from LA.

Ashley re-meets up with her rockstar boyfriend Brian, and Brian's bandmate, and MK & A's close friend, Penny. They don't live in LA, but went there because they're manager needed to talk to them that Sweetbriar's (that's Brian & Penny's band) CD "Starring You and Me" wasn't selling, and they were scared of being dropped by the label.
MK & A think up of a huge scheme to save Sweetbriar. To get them to perform a free gig, and to get LA's hottest DJ "Wild Will Withers" to host it. Trouble is, MK & A have no idea how to get Wild Will's attention!

MK has trouble when the Drama Club has hardly any members left. That meant MK & her friend Nathan have to do some serious recruiting if they wanted to perform Grease! MK finds Danielle, a born actress, who'd be gold at the Drama Club. But snooty Danielle couldn't care less, and MK has to do everything she can to make her change her mind!

And more trouble for MK, her boyfriend Jake feels neglected, after she spends so much time at the Drama Club. So Jake tries out singing "I'm A Little Teapot" to embarrass MK. And she's fuming at him!

Then Ashley dates Brian again, and Brian tries to tell her something, but he can't get it out of himself. Whatever it is - he still manages to kiss Ashley! Maybe it isn't important. Or is it?

Will Sweetbriar be dropped? Will the girls convince Wild Will to host the gig? Will they even find a venue for the gig? Is Danielle to give in to MK? What will MK do about Jake's embarrassing audition? What is Brian trying to tell Ashley?

Pretty boring
I find Mary-Kate and Ashley stuff pretty boring.It takes me a while to read the books since they don't captivate me.I find Lizzie Mcguire more fun and much more interesting.I used to find them much more interesting, but not now.I really encourage you to stop buying their stuff.They are way too rich, anyway!!!

This book was about Mary-Kate and Ashley. When their friend Patty is having a birthday party, they all go to the toy store to attend. But there is a mystery happening at the same time that the Trenchcoat Twins have to solve! This book was fun for me to read. I really liked this book. I have all the other ones of this series and this was just as good as them all. Mary-Kate and Ashley are on a cruise with their family and take part in the scavenger hunt, they have to find three clues. With each clue is an object to prove they have got the clue, but then the objects start disappearing, can Mary-Kate and Ashley solve this mystery? Of course they can. I higly recommend it! ... Mary-Kate and Ashley's reputation is boring!They may be more fun for young readers, but then some of the content would be too mushy-gushy!I encourage you to rent their stuff from a library instead of buy it!If they realize that their sales are dropping enough, then they will stop making their products sooo extremely boring!Besides, who wants to spend so much money on boring books?I think they've gone extreme with all of their book series.They need to finish some of them off.They have these different book series:

The Olsens do it again!
None of the Olsen books I have ever read disappoint me, and this book was like all the others. It's very entertaining, the conflicts are realistic, and you get to know Mary Kate and Ashley as more than cute twins, but young women who are growing up! I recomend this book for any girl - I am 14 and I still read the books!

Sweet sixteen!
Mary-kate and Ashely are trying to find a place to hold there sweet sixteen birthday but are also passing drivers test and mary-kate is trying to get a hold of her ex-boy friend. A think this shows that the twins are growing up and someday be young women.

a great book!!
This book is about may-kate and Ashley turning 16. they want to have the best Sweet 16 ever! Their dad is a concert specialist(I think) and he met Rave's( thier fave. band) planner!!! the best part is that when he heard about the twin's sweet 16, he voulenterd to help plan it as a favor to thier father!

Have you ever had a favorite sister and lost her? If you haven't and want to know the feeling, then read this book Two' A Crowd. This story was about two twin sisters who get in a fight. The protagonists are Mary-Kate and Ashley Burke. Ashley is really nice in the beginning then turns mean.
Ashley gets a new friend named Nicole.
Her sister, Mary-Kate, thinks that Ashley is spending too much
time with Nicole. The main setting is at their school and at home. Mary - Kate calls up Nicole and dresses up like her sister then she tells Nicole that she doesn't want to be friends anymore.Mary-Kate and Ashley were mad at each other for a long time. At the end they became best friends again. Then they started hanging out more. Ashley was like a bear ready to attack when she found out what Mary Kate did. My favorite part was when they got into a huge fight. My other favorite part was when the moved into different rooms.
If you want to find out what happens next, I encourage you to read this book. This book is a fantastic book. This will teach you never too get mad at your sister for a stupid reason. This book is a lesson to all the twin brothers or twin sisters.

This book is very cool, I like the part where mary-kate pretends she is Ashley and break the frienship with nicole!!! If you are an Olsenfan you've got to get this book, i'ts great!! one of my friends has read it to, and she loved it even more than i do!! A cute book !
It's a pretty cool book ! The twins Mary-Kate and Ashley get into a fight. Ashley found a new best friend (nicole) and Mary-Kate feel really left-out...one day she tells Nicole (she says she's Ashley, the both look very similar) that their friendship is over. It works. worst book in history
This is by far and away the worst THING a human being (or even an animal) has ever produced. This book is literally a crime against humanity. My daughter has probably been scarred for life by owning this tripe, also the film is perhaps the worst example of acting on celluloid, and contains more montage than narrative.

Good Book But To Much Boys
I liked the book a lot but there was a little to much boys and kissing in it. I would like to see more mystery than boys.

Just as good as the movie!!
This book was great! It's short,sweet, and too the point! You cna read it in your spare time or when you just feel like reading a good book. At first I thought, " It's probably not as good as the movie." Well, I was wrong- it's just like it... but more details! It's great! It really needed 5 stars!~

Mary-kates and Ashleys best!!!
This is a very good book for the whole family. My whole family rates it 5 out of 5 exept me I rate it 1000000000000 out of 5. I rated it this because it is just as good as the movie. I know that usually my family would think the movie would be the best for any other story.
This book is about Riely Lawrence (Ashley) and Chole (Mary-kate). They got picked to compete in a United Nations contest. They have an idea for the contest that they think is going to win.
They also went sightseeing and met cute boys. There were also some problems with the contest and the boys.
I think I've said enough but if you want to find out more I suggest you get this book. I also think it would make a nice stocking filler.
Don't miss out on this one or you'll be sorry.

I'm 15 years old, yet I'm still reading 'Two of a Kind'. My mom has been begging me to start reading other stuff, but I still insist on reading either this of The New Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley. Why? Cause I am a really big fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley. I own every New Adventures, Adventures, Two of a Kind and Starring In books. I am not kidding.

The storyline is basically the same in every book, but this one had a little of an unexpected twist in it. It is absolutely one of the better books I read in this series. I enjoyed it so much that I plan on buying this book for my friends this Christmas! This one rocks, there's no other way to put it.

just getting boring
Ya i admitt that i love mary-kate and ashley (well at least i used to). i mean most young girls around 10 or 9 would only read the book because of the picture on the cover. but when you actually read it you kind of doze off and have your mind on somthing else if you are around 13 or 14 like me. I mean we cant really look up to them anymore which makes us less interested. they look pretty trashy now days and well lets just say without hurting feelings that we just read because of the people on the covor and i think that when they read this book they would realize that and start reading more interesting books for their age level. i mean lets face it no parent would let a 8 year old read their sweet 15 books. especailly because of the title of some of them like never been kissed. many would find hat offensive ... Hocus-pocus
It's Halloween, and that means a new, Halloween-themed adventure for Mary-Kate and Ashley.Here is basically the story from each twin's point of view:

Mary-Kate is thrilled!The carnival is in town, and what starts out as a simple trip to the carnival solely for fun, turns into an amazing encounter with a REAL fortune teller!At least, the fortune teller's predictions have been coming true for Mary-Kate.But when the others' predictions don't come true, everyone begins to suspect that Mary-Kate is just being conned.

Ashley has a great idea for the White Oak newspaper: an article about the circus/carnival that is visiting town!Everyone is super-excited about it, too, except for the newspaper's new photographer, Jill.It seems to Ashley that Jill wants nothing to do with the project, and she can't figure out why!

Overall, this story was very predictable.I had figured out the end to Ashley's side of the story just a few pages into it, and the end to Mary-Kate's story just a around the middle of the book.It was still kind of interesting, though.I mainly just read the "Two of a Kind" series for fun, I'm not looking for Newbery material, so I usually enjoy the books no matter how occasionally cheesy or predictable they may be.If you want a school-drama based easy-read, too, or like Mary-Kate and Ashley, then I recommend this book to you!

P.S. I have no idea why they say in the product description that "every decision Mary-Kate makes based on the predictions is destroying her friendships".I think that's very misleading! ... Read more
