Product Description

Since the first episode aired on Comedy Central in 1997, South Park has proven to be one of the most socially relevant and downright hilarious television shows of all time. No series skewers pop culture and politics with more effective wit and wisdom than South Park—from dysfunctional family life to bad manners to the entire country of Canada, for the residents of this tiny town, no subject is sacred or taboo!

A regular ratings monster and Emmy-winner, South Park is also an unlikely source of advice on all facets of life. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny along with the rest of the town offer hilariously twisted insights and questionable counsel on topics such as teamwork, spirituality, and the opposite sex. South Park Guide to Life is a much anticipated collection of colorful illustrations and original lines from the show. Great for grads and fans alike!

5-0 out of 5 stars South Park Guide to Life
I have to say that even though the book is short it is awesome. If you love South Park like I do then you should buy this book. Why? Well for a look back at classic South Park lines. All I have to say is buy this book. You won't be disappointed I promise you.

2-0 out of 5 stars Kinda Neat...?
Wasn't that worthwhile as a gift. Very short book. Son read it once & now it just sits.

5-0 out of 5 stars South Park Guide To Life
This is an awesome book that contains south park's best quotes.Very nice illustrations with lots of colors. If your a south park fan you should definitely purchase this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not Perfect, But Is Still Amazing
As a South Park fan, I was delighted to find out about this book. It combines two of my favourite things: quotes and South Park! Yes, it's not as perfect as I imagined it to be, there's a few misattributed quotes and I would have loved to have seen a mention of what episode said quote came from, but, I love it nonetheless.

Divided into 12 chapters or topics, there are corresponding quotes... and it's pretty recent. The most recent quote is from "Breast Cancer Show Ever" which premiered in mid-October 2008 (this book came out less than 6 months later). Within this collection there are funny quotes, quotes that taught me something, and much more!

To me, what makes this book worth whatever money you spend is the Foreword, by Brian Boitano, who has a song named from him in "Bigger, Longer and Uncut" and has an appearance in that short that first started it all (impersonated, of course). He says some really nice and true things about this wonderful show.

Yes, this book isn't a book that discusses the philosophy of the show (read those books, they're pretty good) in depth, and just showcases quotes from the show, with no discussion, but it's still pretty nice.

If you like quotes and South Park, this is a nice thing to have!

5-0 out of 5 stars An absolute must for the legions of dedicated South Park fans
The kids of South Park are the world's most famous potty-mouth ten year olds in the world. Now fans who can't get enough of them on cable television's 'Comedy Channel' (launched in 1997 and currently in its 13the season) can enjoy "South Park: Guide To Life" by South Park co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. An illustrated collection of 'quotable quotes' the South Park gang of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, along with such citizens as Chef, Mr. Garrison, and others, the "South Park Guide To Life" provides an iconoclastic philosophy such as Kyle's observation "Hybrid cars don't cause smugness. People do." A great (and all too quick) a read, the "South Park Guide To Life" is an absolute must for the legions of dedicated South Park fans, and a popular addition to any school or community library American Humor collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I love this item! Got mine in the mail today and have been playing with it all afternoon.Perfect gift for the 20-something *kid* or any South Park fan.Brings back memories of the sticky-forms from my youth.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun for all South Park fans!
I bought this about a year ago , and when I first opend it, I new it would be ohers of fun. I spent 3 ohers on it. Thers 130 pesses of your favorite South Park charecters, or most of them. About a year later I lost most of the pesses. But I still have alote of fun with it. You can make you very own South Park episodes. They dont have as much cursing in it as the show. They only have 5 curse words. You can choose from 10 different South park backgrounds from the show. Like the classroom, the cafeteria, andStarks pond. You can make Kenny die over and over. For some people it can get boring, but for big South Park fans like me, even without most of the pesses its still fun! Well, Irecommend it for South Park fans. It can be hard to understand for some people who arnt farmiliar with alot of the South Park charecters. Well I got to go play with it right now!

4-0 out of 5 stars Sticky Fun!!
If you like/love South Park then this is a book that you will have to put on you wish list or get. You can make Kenny die anyway you want. You can even make Stan and Wendy kiss! There are ten diffrent backgrounds that you can put them in. Even on each background there are little clips taken from that episode of South Park. This is a awesome book that the whole family will love....maybe.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Gift!
I gave this gift to my kid (well, okay, he's grown and married) for Christmas. He and his wife had hours of fun making scenes together and remembering all the episodes. They even let me do some scenes!

This is awonderful exercise in creativity and play for those of us with an SP senseof humor!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The South Park Kit: "Dude Sweet" is "Sweet."
I have been waiting for a while to give this review. The reason is that I wanted to order a few for myself before these collectible items disappear, and I didn't want to contribute to a possible run on these novelties before I could get a few. These kits come with a coffee mug, two posters-one of the Terrance & Phillip movie poster & one of Al Gore's "ManBearPig." A word magnet game, a "Towelie" microfiber computer cloth (probably to clean your computer screen, a quiz book & two campaign buttons for "Vote Douche" & "vote Turd" & a quiz book with over 100 multiple choice questions. I suggest acquiring this kit along with all of the complete seasons of South Park, get your friends, parents, grandparents and a member of your house of worship (A Nun, Rabbi & Priest), some popcorn and lots of coffee and Towelie treats and sleeping bags and take off of school/work and laugh your ass off. Do not forget the coffee since it will take over two days to complete this task. Have fun-Craig Barr.

3-0 out of 5 stars missing items
Unfortunately, the kit was missing some items that my son wants. The kit we received did not have the Towlie or the two buttons that are supposed to be included.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun collectors set for any south park fan
I really love the posters that come with this set. Very original. The mug is nice and the buttons are as well.

If you have to justify spending $10-11 on this item it breaks down like this:

the sweet posters are about $1.50 each=$3
    the buttons are $1 each=$2
    The coffee mug is $4
The little book is a nice colored and has some cool pictures $.50
The towelie cloth is cute $.25
The magnets are pretty sweet too $1

Now looking at it this way this seems like a pretty sweet deal...if you love south park. otherwise it looks like a pile of crap you will never use except maybe the coffee mug the magnets and the laptop cloth. any ways if you like south park this is totally worth it. very nice lot. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars funny as hell! should they make another?
i loved this movie. its got almost every charcter except 4 maybe the newer onse but still fun 2 watch.
if u dont decide 2 buy it they play it on comedy central a couple times a month i think.but dont worry they air it un-edited and nothins blurred or cut out so buy it or watch it on tv but either way u wont be dissapointed.

should they make a sequal? im not sure they can out do it,but would be interesting still maybe its better they dont any wayz (just to be safe).

5-0 out of 5 stars the best musical on paper!!!!!...
This movie is hilarious, and it really is hard to make someone laugh reading......it still hilarious. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are genius. This movie is just plain hilarious. This book is hilarious and a must get book for all you south parkatiers..Even if you dont play an instrument, it is still hilarious.. This book shows images of the movie. For the music stuff they show the notes tunes and the lyrics, McKay. The guitar tunes, which I play and now I can play the south park songs on my guitar. You cant too if you buy this hysterical music thingy......P.S. this book is cool to show off to people....viva la resistance!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Find for the Uncomplicated Musician
This score is accurate and thorough in its likeliness to the actual movie, although don't expect the pieces to sound nearly as full as they do with the full orchestral accompaniment of the album. The piano part is thin, but it is more than enough to accompany any singer (or yourself, if you like to sing while you play.)My favorite piece is "La Resistance (Medley)", which pieces together a number of different tunes. For the guitarists out there, each piece contains printed chords and tablature.I love playing through the score and have had great fun with it!I recommend it to any South Park fan/musician, or even anyone who's been wanting to know the full lyrics (but don't waste the music - invite a musician over!)

4-0 out of 5 stars Great if you need the music, but not necessarily the words..
This book is definitely a must-have if you require the notes to play the tunes. However, if you're only trying to figure out the lyrics, the best way to go about this is to play the "South Park: BLU DVD" with the English subtitles on (or captions on if you have it on VHS). Then you can sing along with the movie! Neat, huh? Unfortunately, there's no 'bouncing ball' to follow when the kids do break into song, but hey, you can't have everything!

    'Late

5-0 out of 5 stars When you just HAVE to know the words to Mountain Town
Let's face it, when you first heard the soundtrack or saw the movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut ... you HAD to know the words. So I sat and meticulously wrote out what I thought were the words. So my question to Trey Parker & Marc Shaiman is ... WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?

This is a great book, especially for the musically inclined who may want to actually play the music to the best, most insane movie of all time. I don't play an instrument but I got hours of entertainment singing such classics as Uncle F*cka and It's Easy, Mkay!

And I'm thrilled to say I had the lyrics pretty much correct on all except the end of Mountain Town. But that's okay. I've got the words now. :) ... Read more

    Product Description

South Park continues to be one of the best loved and most intensely controversial shows on television.
