Free from Bondage of All Types and Forms

This unique and special book written by Pastor Michael Pitts is to help, guide, and stir the hearts of all Christians to break ungodyly soul ties.
This book is for every Christian to read and depending on your life with Jesus there are helps in this book for you.
Pastor Pitts teaches us 'behavior signs' and for example Behavioral #3 is "An ungodle soul tie causes a person to shut down emotionally."
As you read chapter 9 "How Soul Ties Are formed" we learn of teachings about marriage, and divorced, but married in the soul.
This important book is covered with scripture references and as the reader learns from Jesus the teacher, Pastor Pitts provides an excellent background on such an important subject for all.Read and grow in the Spirit.

Soul Ties
I was given this book by my mother to read. I am not a christian book reader but I must say not only did this book keep my attention it has helped me realize a few things within myself that I wouldn't have otherwise noticed. Michael S. Pitts is a great and inspiring author. I hope to be able to read more books that he has written.

Essential...for the time being.
As an avid Bronson fan I've been looking forward to a book like this one for the longest time. This particular book has been under way for quite a while, having been postponed several times. Now it's finally here, and theresult is so-so. Since Bronson apparently has stopped acting now, it's niceto have a complete overlook of all his work. However, what disappoints me abit is how little Pitts talks about each movie. -There's lots more to besaid about these films, many of them classics, but what you get here is allone is allowed to expect from a reference book, I guess. (-AlthoughMcFarland have produced similar books on actors with more thoroughdiscussions, like the brilliant one about Peter Cushing's movies.) Also,and it may just be my copy of the book, but the photos seem to bereproduced not dark enough. Despite these shortcomings it's still asure-buy for fans, but the ultimate fact-filled book on the films of Mr.Bronson is yet to be written. ... Read more

Would be fundamental if not so flawed
A great concept - a who's who of cinema's creepy neighbor kid, the horror film - is on the surface quite good. If one just has a general interest in the field, the book is incredible just in its scope.Actors and actresses from the classic masters (Chaney - both ones, Karloff, Lugosi) to ones such as Jamie Lee Curtis are covered, with Evelyn Ankers, Dwight Frye, Edward Van Sloan, Lionel Atwill, Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Claude Rains, and even Fay Wray thrown in for good measure.

However, it does have some issues. Firstly, since the title is "Horror Film Stars" it would help to have some of the behind the scenes sort of stars included - folks like Jack Pierce, James Whale, Murnau, whether they be directors or other artists one cannot ignore their contributions. Sceondly, the book has a wierd habit of including pages on some person that I'd wager most people never heard of that did only a handful of films and neglecting several others. Book is fairly comprehensive, but there are still quite a few performers missing, the biggest modern exclusion I can think of being Robert Englund - Freddy, and several supporting heavies like Ralph Bellamy and Patric Knowles. (Valerie Hobson but no Mae Clarke?)The third problem is the vastness of typos. I'll allow, I know most about the Universal Monsters heavies with a bit of Price for good measure, so I can't speak about all, but in many entries I caught errors ranging from simple typo to those along the "what???" avenue. Differences in costume and makeup components, differing names for spouses and children, incorrect dates / personal history, etc. may be small but they add up and at the end of the book I found myself wondering how many omissions there were overall in the bios of the actors I didn't know about.

In total, an OK book for reading but I would advise taking things light. ... Read more

Truly Visionary
This is a truly visionary, even revolutionary, book of business scholarship. Dr Schindehutte comes from a background in the hard sciences, and in the tradition of Ilya Prigogine, crosses over to the social and applied sciences of business marketing. With a scientist's keen eye for observation, whe finds the old ways of marketing quickly being replaced by a new paradigm. The traditional 4 Ps are now replaced by what she calls the 4 Cs. Organizations that don't adapt to the new competitive environment emerging will become extinct. Only those organizations that re-think traditional marketing and apply new revolutionary techniques will survive and thrive. A mind-expanding work.

Hard-to-find cookbook from a magical Restaurant.
This is the second cookbook published by the STONE'S RESTAURANT -- which opened in 1984 and is located in the city of Avebury (in the county of Wiltshire) in England.

The mysterious Avebury standing stones are located just a few miles from the more famous Stonehenge. J.R.R.Tolkein was sitting under a tree within the prehistoric Avebury standing stones when he was inspired with the concept for writing "The Hobbit" stories.

The Stone's Restaurant building is a stone barn, (once part of an Elizabethan manor),and was built within the Avebury circle of standing stones.The restaurant also has an organic garden, freshly picked produce is used in each day's menu.

This cookbook is vegetarian and the recipes taste best when you use natural and organic ingrediants.Each recipe has been developed to be visually colorful and attractive, as well as delicious. The recipes are inspired by international food traditions,yet use commonly available ingrediants.
