5-0 out of 5 stars One Man Tango -review
I haven't read it yet but it looks excellent. And it's in very good condition.

5-0 out of 5 stars Quinn Had One Heck of a Life
This is Anthony Quinn's second autobiography. Since he lived to be 86, he apparently felt that he couldn't tell his life story in only one autobiography. He was probably correct in that assumption. As of this moment, I've not read his 1972 "The Original Sin" but it will probably be my next read. Quinn was an excellent writer as well as a visual artist and famous stage and film actor. He was also a very randy fellow he couldn't keep his hands off the beautiful women he attracted like bees to honey. He had thirteen children from his three wives and three known,long-time mistresses. Like most motion pictures stars he had affairs with most of the beautiful actresses he met in his 100 plus motion pictures and plays. One of his affairs involved actress Ruth Warrick in 1945. "Years later, she offered the following comment to a reporter: `Anthony Quinn, in the middle of a love affair with me, once said he wanted to f**k all the women in the world, and impregnate all of them. I never knew he'd get this far.'"
Despite his inability to resist the ladies for whom his addiction and appeal was legendary, Quinn lived a life that could not have been fictionalized to be more interesting. He was born in a Mexican hut to a mother who had only recently been sent home from the front lines of the Mexican Revolution. She had wanted to remain and continue fighting, but her obvious pregnancy resulted in her being sent home. Her husband stayed and continued fighting with Poncho Villa. Years later his father moved to Los Angeles and eventually became an assistant cameraman at Zelig's Movie Studio. Anthony showed a talent for art early in life. Quinn studied briefly with Frank Lloyd Wright through the Taliesin Fellowship he won in a high school architectural design contest. Quinn was sent to have his speech impediment surgically corrected on Wright's recommendation. To further correct his speech he was sent to an acting school. That, combined with his father's friendships at Zelig's, led to Quinn being hired as an extra in the movies.
This second autobiography was published in 1997 when the actor was eighty-two years old.His last two children were born in 1993 and 1996 to Quinn and his third wife Kathy Benvin. Both his first wife Katherine DeMille and his third wife were named Katherine, which is one of those odd coincidences that make his life a bit confusing for the reader.
This memoir is 419 pages long and is written in such a way that the reader never gets bored. The reader may, however, get exhausted because the vehicle Quinn uses to tie his life experiences together is one of his day-long bicycle rides around the steep hills of his Italian Villa. He is constantly climbing another hill or avoiding a swerving truck coming around the next mountain bend. During this physically tiring day of bike riding he reminisces about his long life, his many crazy experiences, the people he has met and many of the women he has loved or bedded. He is old enough to be trying to make sense of his rich life experiences and to understand his purpose in life. As an artist he feels that he must constantly be creating or he will die.
Quinn turns out to be a deep thinker in addition to a talented actor, painter, sculptor and writer. It's useless for me to even attempt to convey some of the wise sage advice and observations that Anthony expresses so eloquently. So I won't try. His book is peppered with fascinating characters he has met. Frederico Fellini who directed him to an academy award nomination in "La Strada" gave him some memorable advice about giving interviews to journalists. "Why do you tell these people the truth?"
"Me, I never tell the truth to a journalist. I always lie. It is like an exercise to me, because when I lie I have to use my imagination...you will read it in the papers the next day."
After reading that summary of Fellini's advice to Quinn I wondered if Anthony might not have taken it too much to heart. I especially wondered when I read the last few lines of the book when Quinn wrote: "I wish to go out in style. There will be no pine box sunk six feet under ground, no urn to be placed on a mantle and forgotten. No...There will be my dozen children, carrying me up a hill in Chihuahua and leaving me to rot in the hot sun. I can picture the scene, transposed over the fertile ground of my youth. (I have the specific hill mapped for my executors.) I will be laid to rest at the top of the rise, a feast for the vultures. My children will go back to the rest of their lives and the birds will pick at what is left of me. They will lift me up, piecemeal, and defecate me out all over the countryside, returning me to the earth from which I had sprung, leaving me forever a part of all Mexico.
"And the dance goes on."
Now the book doesn't tell you if that is what Quinn's executors really did concerning his funeral arrangements. If you are like me, you will head straight to the Internet to find out where and how Quinn's funeral was actually carried out. The reader may be surprised.
The reader definitely won't be bored with this book. Anthony Quinn was a man peddling madly on his bicycle to find the truth of life. He was always in search of the answers to the age-old questions: "Who Are We, Why Are We Here, Where Are We Going?" Remember than Quinn won an Oscar for his role as Gauguin in "Lust for Life." During the filming of that motion picture he felt that Gauguin's ghost had actually taken over his body and soul in order to properly portray his life for the silver screen.
Quinn always leaves the reader of his autobiography wanting to know more. This is one of the most enjoyable autobiographies this reviewer has ever had the multiple pleasures of reading.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Very meaning of the phrase "Larger Than Life"
Here is a biography worth reading, about a man whose life was worth living and worth hearing about: a man who lived every inch of his life on the edge and to its fullest. Even with its foibles and demented aspects, one cannot read this well-crafted biography without being envious of Quinn's life.

Quinn, a Mexican from Chihauhua, possessed an inner drive and an ego destined to make him larger than life in one arena or another. Although with multiple hidden talents, most of which only to be discovered later in life, Quinn became an actor in order to learn English better. But during a bumpy life course he became much, much more than just an actor, he sculpted, painted, cycled and kept a string of younger ladies and a host of wives and families happy until his death as an octogenarian. All of which required considerable talent.

Had it not been told so well and with such passion and verve, and from Quinn's own deeply passionate and artistic mind, this could have been a very tragic story indeed, but the way the events of his life actually unfolded lent itself to the pure poetry that is exhibited here; and the way they have been collated arranged and sorted out by Daniel Paisner, makes them a "song" to all of those like myself who only knew Quinn vicariously through that "rough but exciting" screen persona, as "Zorba the Greek" and his many other characters.

Unlike the biography of one of Quinn's (and my) heroes, Marlon Brando, which was lifeless to the point of being depressing, this one is alive and sparkles throughout. Both Quinn and Dan Paisner are to be commended for, at the same time raising the level of biographic writing, while also raising the human spirits in a story exquisitely well told.

One of the few books on any subject that is so full of life's dramas and metaphors, that you will love reading it so much that you will want to read it over and over. Fifty Stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bike ride of a lifetime
I'm surprised that this book has so few reviews; I guess people don't read autobiographies much anymore. I found this man's story to be extremely interesting. For one man to have lived such a full life is truly a blesssing and to his credit he lived it to the fullest. Anthony Quinn, the man, is revealed, warts and all. A womanizer, a multi-media artist, best known for his performance art, a musician, a boxer, preacher, you name it, Anthony Quinn probably tried it. The book begins with Quinn painting in his villa in Italy when a package arrives from his ex-wife Katherine De Mille, daughter of renowned filmmaker Cecil B. De Mille. He anticipates the contents but cannot open it immediately but rather takes off on an extensive bike ride. The bike ride becomes the vechilcle of his life long recollections. It is well written and a thoroughly enjoyable book. Quinn narrates his childhood memories in Mexico and the transition to living in the United States. He recalls his early encounters with fame and recounts his numerous jobs before landing employment in Hollywood. His candid rancour about his early stereotypical roles is evident but his strong determination to be recognized as a great artist is even more apparent. It seems nothing could stop Anthony Quinn from achieveing success. The many loves of Quinn are remembered, the resulting children as well are touched upon, including the loss of one of his sons who drowned in the De Mille pool; the good and the bad, it is all here. It is a bittersweet story of one mans journey, revealed on a memorable bike ride through the countryside of Italy. The memories are many and the revelations and insights are brilliant. Included are historic family photographs and scenes from his many movies. If you are a film buff or like the old movies of the late great Anthony Quinn than check this book out.It is entertaining and fascinating that one man could do so many things in a lifetime which in turn provided many people with pleasure; this book was indeed a true pleasure to read because it allowed me to know a little more about one of my favorite old time movie actors. ... Product Description
An elegant collection of photographs and essays documenting Anthony Quinn's remarkable life in art.

In the sumptuous pages of Anthony Quinn's Eye, "one encounters the world of one of the most interesting men of our time," writes poet and novelist Jay Parini. As an artist, Quinn was versatile, deft, and prolific—tirelessly sketching, painting, and sculpting to give form to an insistent inner vision. As a collector, his enthusiasm for cultural artifacts, artworks, and books was vast. Anthony Quinn's Eye is a portrait in words and pictures of this creative force. Donald Kuspit examines the impulse behind Quinn's desire to create and collect. Quinn's legendary acting talent—"life force on celluloid"—is celebrated here by Tom Roberts, who traces Quinn's career from his days as a studio actor to the later roles that earned him a place in the cultural firmament. Personal reflections by his widow, Katherine Quinn, and longtime friend Kirk Douglas complete this unique appreciation of a fascinating man. 156 color and 65 duotone plates. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars He was not a great artist, but he was a prolific one, and it kept him alive
If you are of a certain age you remember Anthony Quinn as a protean force, not just as an actor but as a collector and artist. (In much the same way, Yul Brynner is memorable for his photography.) It's understandable. Born dirt-poor, he took refuge in art. In high school, he won a prize --- and a meeting with Frank Lloyd Wright, who told him he was talented but needed to correct a speech problem. Quinn had an operation, and then, as part of his speech therapy, took up acting.

Quinn's first important role was in Fellini's "La Strada," in which he played a strongman unable to act on his need for love. For such a man, strength thus leads to failure. Quinn seemed to live the part, but in fact, he was haunted from his earliest years with the question of authenticity. Yes, he played roles that looked real enough--- in "Zorba the Greek," he cries out, "Take off your belt and live" --- but he always knew that was acting.

Art became his compulsion, and he kept at it. He was not a great artist --- you can see his influences in almost every piece --- but he was a prolific one, and it is that drive that makes this book special. He was organized. He worked at it. That kept him alive to the very end. It just might encourage a friend or relative who's getting on to do the same.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Entirely Different Look at a Wonderful Artist
Although the great actor/artist is no longer living, he would have been delighted by this book about his life spent creating and collecting art. This is a Coffee Table Book worthy of the term. At 11 and 1/2 by 14 and 1/2 inches, the marvelous six-pound art book needs a decent sized coffee table just to display it properly. But this reviewer was not impressed by the book's size, but it's contents and the quality of the contents.
Most people have no idea that Anthony Quinn who made "Zorba the Greek" a lasting icon in the world of film, was a very talented life-long visual artist. He was born a dirt-poor Mexican boy who entered the worldin a crude primitive hut while his father was off fighting with Pancho Villa. His mother had also fought side-by-side with her husband until her pregnancy banished her from the fighting front. Young Quinn won prizes for his art as a child. His drawings in high school led to an interview with one of the greatest architects of the era.Frank Lloyd Wright sent Quinn to a surgeon to have a stammer corrected. After the operation he directed Anthony to an acting school to learn how to speak correctly. Soon he was so much in demand for his acting skills and rugged looks that his grandmother encouraged him to follow that career path because he could always do his artwork for the rest of his life. Quinn did exactly that. The book includes pictures of him at work sketching on the beach between shooting movie scenes or at various other foreign locations where his film making duties took him. His personal copies of scripts were often covered with Quinn's doodles or sketches. In addition to acting and art, anyone who has read his second autobiography "One Man Tango" knows that Quinn was also a powerful writer who could bring tears to eyes of the readers of his amazing life story. There are precious few autobiographies of motion picture stars that can move readers like Quinn could even with ghost writers fictionalizing and changing many of the supposed facts. Quinn's life was so unusual that fictionalizing it probably would only have toned it down.
One of the features of this book is that it includes several different types of photography. There are black and white pictures of Quinn working on some of his giant sculptures as well as "Architectural Digest" style color photographs of his home and studios in Bristol, Rhode Island. There are also numerous excellent still-life photographs of the details that made up the famous actor's artistic world. The slick photographs almost seem so sharp that they are almost three-dimensional. Combined with "Family of Man" pictures of the great actor interacting with his young family they make a terrific final edit.
The book's text is brief but appropriate and it greatly helps to fill in the details of the artist's passion for art and creating. It is written by his young widow, Katherine Quinn, as well as experts in their fields Donald Kuspit, Tom Roberts and Jay Parini.
All these elements are combined into a really first-class tribute to the limitless energy and creative genius of Anthony Quinn. For readers unfamiliar with the life and loves of Quinn other than through his many, many films, this will be a real "eye-opener." As Kirk Douglas adds in a brief tribute, his fellow actor and friend of fifty years won one of his Oscars for portraying Gauguin in "Lust for Life." Douglas, who co-stared in that film thought the award could not have been more appropriate for Quinn who seemed to actually morph into the great artist while portraying his life. ... Read more

Product Description
"Rescue Man" opens on the eve of the Second World War. With uncertainty in the air as the world seems on the brink of disaster, Liverpool is a city tense in anticipation of the coming conflict. Tom Baines is struggling to finish a book chronicling the architecture of his beloved Liverpool. Orphaned as a child and now approaching forty with no prospect of a family of his own, Baines is a man emotionally adrift. Unable to commit to anything, either personal or professional, he is left looking in at life from the outside. Then old university tutor passes on information about the diary of a Victorian architect and sends Baines to a photographer who will help him with his book. Both introductions will change Baines' life. The diary is that of Peter Eames, Victorian visionary and self-proclaimed genius. The photographers are Richard and Bella Tanqueray - a couple with whom Baines forms an immediate bond. The outbreak of war brings a new sense of purpose and unexpected relationships. Baines joins the Rescue Men - retrieving the wounded from bombed buildings. The Blitz is a relentless bombardment trailing devastation and loss in its wake.Yet in wartime ordinary rules are suspended, risks taken and Baines finds himself caught up in a love affair that is as heady and all-consuming as it is transgressive. With writing that is both immediate and deeply steeped in its time, Anthony Quinn recreates wartime Liverpool with the same emotional intensity and fidelity with which he renders the city of Eames' "Victorian" diaries. Quinn is a writer whose facility for language will carry you through the streets of 'the Venice of the North' in a powerful, unforgettable story of love found and lost. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent biography of a great actor
Although this is considered to be juvenile literature, the author does a top-notch job of looking at Quinn's career and life. This biography looks at his multifacted talent as actor, writer, and artist. There is a lot of solid information on Quinn's commitment to continually improving his acting, especially in mastering "method acting."The book also surveys Quinn's movement from screen actor to stage actor. Most importantly, this book surveys Quinn's work in fighting the prevalent racism that he faced within Hollywood.By mastering his acting (some have viewed Quinn as selfish for being more concerned about his acting than the actual film product or working relationships with other actors) this formidable actor was able to challenge the sterotyping and typecasting that were forced on him in his early career.Altogether this is a very intriguing biography. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Any Fan Will Like It
I love Vettriano's work. No, this isn't "The Singing Butler" and yes, the paintings here are more sexual in nature. They are still great paintings. Whay I like about his work is imagining what the people in the paintings are thinking. Some remind me of affairs, meeting or waiting for a lover, etc. They are very emotionally charges. Nothing "dirty" is here, they are more suggestive to me than anything really adult. If you're more famiiar with his work, you will enjoy this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book and a great artist that critics love to hate
In 1989, or was it 1990, I stood in the Scottish Academy's "Open" show in Edinborough and marvelled at the work of an unknown Scottish miner's work named Jack Vettriano - Dammit I wish I'd had the 300 pounds to afford that wonderful painting. This is a book that shows a romantic at heart with the courage to paint what he feels regardless of modern day art critics who have failed to realize that their written word no longer carries any weight in the world of art. Vettriano is a romantic Hopper, but better - he stylizes, preaches, decorates, creates and delivers wondrous works that remind us why we love painting and painters who ignore critics and fashion and trends and paint what they want to paint. This is a success story from the very dark depths of the public's ability to make superstars in art that give art critic stomach acid for centuries to come - when their names are forgotten, Vettriano's dismissed artwork will still be colelcted, sought-after and admired. Keep them cookin' jack!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not so innocent
While I am quite a fan of Vettriano's work, most of the painting I've seen displayed on the Portland Gallery's website were of the type as "The Singing Butler." The paintings in "Lovers and Other Strangers" are not all so innocent. While they are all wonderful compostions I wasn't expecting the highly sexual nature of the pieces. (Perhaps I should have from the title.) There are several of his in this book of the type I enjoy such as "After Midnight" and "Winter Light and Lavender" I am not such a fan of Quinn's choices. While it gives a broad view of Vettriano's work you might not enjoy it if your favorite pieces are "Singing Butler" and "Mad Dogs."I do like the composition of all the pieces as well as the use of color I was not always taken with the choice of models. If you, like myself, enjoy Vettriano's work that are character studies of average people you might not care for the sexually charged nature of most of the pieces in this book. ... Product Description

This is the first book-length treatment of the Variational Bayes (VB) approximation in signal processing. It has been written as a self-contained, self-learning guide for academic and industrial research groups in signal processing, data analysis, machine learning, identification and control. It reviews the VB distributional approximation, showing that tractable algorithms for parametric model identification can be generated in off-line and on-line contexts. Many of the principles are first illustrated via easy-to-follow scalar decomposition problems. In later chapters, successful applications are found in factor analysis for medical image sequences, mixture model identification and speech reconstruction. Results with simulated and real data are presented in detail. The unique development of an eight-step "VB method", which can be followed in all cases, enables the reader to develop a VB inference algorithm from the ground up, for their own particular signal or image model.

5-0 out of 5 stars Reclaiming Kierkegaard from the "irrational."
It is easy to misunderstand such a subtle philosopher as Kierkegaard. From his cryptic style and pseudonymns creeps a message heavily veiled, and best understood by a select view. Both "existentialism" and "irrational" become easily misused buzz words far too often applied to Kierkegaard. This book argues that such has been the case with Alasdair MacIntyre in his book AFTER VIRTUE. Fortunately, those who seem most on the mark in their interpretations of Kierkegaard have been gathered here in this collection of essays defending Kierkegaard against MacIntyre's claims that Kierkegaard is an irrational fedeist. KIERKEGAARD AFTER MACINTYRE is a brilliant and responsible exposition of the depths and intricacies of "the father of existentialism" by, whom I believe to be, the most "well-versed" Kierkegaardian scholars. Most helpful in this book was the light it shed on the influence both Kant and Artistotle had on Kierkegaard's conception of the self and decision-making, and the importance of understanding what are Kierekgaard's thoughts through all the pseudonymity...especially when it comes to his writings on the Judge and the Aesthete in Either/Or.

The book is highly enjoyable with concise essays that make their points while citing the various passages of Kierkegaard. One can easily check their refences if one is skeptical of the context. And what I enjoyed most was the fairness of the book. MacIntyre himself ends the collection of essays, and has the last words in response to the book's claims that he has radically misunderstood Kierkegaard. A good read and a definite must for anyone who wants to stay on top of the issues at hand in Kierkegaardian scholarship. ... Read more

Ishmael

So begins Ishmael, an utterly unique and captivating spiritual adventure, which redefines what it is to be human. And thus, we are introduced to Ishmael, a creature of immense wisdom. He has a story to tell, one that no human being has ever heard before. It is the story of man's place in the grand scheme, and it begins at the birth of time. This history of the world has never appeared in any schoolbook. "Does the earth belong to man?" Ishmael asks. "Or does man belong to the earth?"

Author Daniel Quinn is the first winner of the prestigious Turner Tomorrow Fellowship, awarded for fiction providing creative and positive solutions to global problems. 5-0 out of 5 stars 6 Stars!!!! (******)
This book's philosophical point is so novel, fresh, and unique, it is undoubtedly a modern philosophical masterpiece. This book takes a unique philosophical perspective and a fantastic fictional tale, and blends them together for a very crisp and fun piece of literature.

A small warning is that there are a few false claims regarding science issues, but this is only because he generalizes too broadly. His points of contention are still valid, not being nullified by exceptions to otherwise accurate generalizations.

The importance of this book is great in understanding humanity, civilization and this very wonderful thing that we call life.As someone who does not agree with all of Quinn's views, it made me consider things that I did not want to.If this book does not change your views, it will change your life, nonetheless.

5-0 out of 5 stars ishmael - must read!
easy to read this books explains with mind-boggling logic the reason for our social and ecological problems.

3-0 out of 5 stars An Adventure Indeed
I am not writing a review to critique the author on his style, syntax, or creativity. His written word is eloquent.I LOVED the premise of the book "Teacher seeks pupil.Must have earnest desire to save the world.Apply in person."What could be more intriguing? My problem was it took me 263 pages to find out what you already knew in the first chapter. I kept reading to see if I could learn more.I didn't.Perhaps I wasn't intelligent enough to get his point?

4-0 out of 5 stars Not much of a plot but a good book to think about.
Read this for a sociology 101 class. It was a fairly easy read, some complex themes but a naive look at the problems with western civilization.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ishmael OPENED MY EYES
I read Ishmael this past summer of 2010.Beinga college student at the ripe age of 19, I wasn't necessarily looking for a philosophical book that would change my life... but boy did I get one!

I didn't really get into the book at first.Maybe this was because it was essentially about a telepathic gorilla... not my type of book, necessarily. As I got a little further into the book, I realized that I was just reading a few hundred pages of mostly conversation.I'll admit that I wasn't exactly thrilled, but I continued on.About 80 pages into it, I started to realize what I was actually reading.I instantly became obsessed from that point on, and quickly finished it in about a day (while at work at a Pizzaman, reading in between orders!).

When my boyfriend returned from Canada, I met him at his house and listened to his stories of his trip for a while.Eventually, I exploded into conversation about this book and how much he would love it.I had marked a few pages with really good quotes and analogies and I read them aloud to him.He started reading it and finished it in about two days.We then had what I would consider some of the most intellectual conversations either of us had ever had. Before he'd even finished Ishmael, I went on Amazon and bought two copies of the second book of the trilogy "The Story of B".

Ishmael was a great book.Sure, there isn't necessarily a real plot or lots of action, but it is the most life-changing book I've ever experienced.I decided to switch my major from Psychology to English Education in hopes of some day forcing a highschool class to read this book and write papers on it, haha!

Truly inspiring, thought provoking text.I've had a few friends read it.This book had ideas and knowledge I've never even heard suggested before.I recommend to everybody (and basically already have)!!! ... Read more

Product Description
Pervasive Developmental Disorder, or PDD, is the umbrella term used to cover the whole family of autistic spectrum disorders including autism and Asperger Syndrome. Within this group there is a subgroup called NOS not otherwise specified which covers the conditions which do not quite meet the diagnostic criteria for autism or Asperger Syndrome. Because PDD covers such a wide spectrum, it presents very differently from child to child. Written principally for parents, this is a book which explains what it means for your child to be diagnosed with PDD, NOS, autism or Asperger Syndrome, and where you go from there. The authors describe the symptoms of PDD, what a diagnosis means, how a child fits into the diagnostic terminology and the diagnostic procedures involved. They also review associated disorders such as OCD, and discuss the different treatments and therapies available. The book includes frequently-asked questions, as well as the experiences of other parents. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars ok book
Bits and pieces were helpful where others were not. Not as helpful as we had hoped. There were some chapters in the book where helpful information could be obtained while others were not. That is common in many books so overall am not sorry for the purchase and would think that it could be useful to others out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Information for Parents!
My 2 1/2 year old son was recently diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, NOS, so I wanted to get a book that would help me explain it to friends & relatives.I read this book in an hour or so.It is laid out very nicely and full of really good information that explains PDD thoroughly. The book is very interesting and there are lots of examples to help you understand how each child with PDD or Autism is different from one another.

When I have told people that PDD is a form of autism--most people respond by saying "well he doesn't do such and such, etc. so how could it be autism?"This book is very helpful in explaining the subtle differences that a child can have in each of the following areas:communication, social interaction, repetitive behavior. Now that I understand PDD better, I can explain it to others.I highly recommend this book!It isn't your average cheap book, but it is worth the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars What I didn't know aboutPDD
Excellent book!!! I read this book in one night! It was so easy to read and understand pervasive developmental disorder.I would recommend this book to those who have a loved one recently diagnosed. The autism spectrum is wide.It gave great detail on both ends of the spectrum.Lots of information.Had a hard time putting this book down. If you need a book about PDD, this is the one to get first.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Parents and Educators
As the parent of a child recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS, this book is fantastic and explains a lot in terms for the everyday person. It's also great for educators and people that are do not have very much experience working with chilren within this spectrum. Our son is also very lucky to be a patient of one of the Doctor's that is in Dr. Malone's practice and he will meet Barbara Quinn this fall.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource!
This book explains PDD-NOS and the other autism spectrum disorders in clear, concise language. I recommend it to anyone going down this road, particularly PDD-NOS parents or those whose toddlers aren't hitting their dev. milestones. ... Read more
