He is best known for portraying James Bond in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989), as well as Rhett Butler in the television miniseries Scarlett (1994), an original sequel to Gone with the Wind. In addition, he is known for his roles in Emily Brontës Wuthering Heights (1970), Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre (1983) and Shakespearean films and plays such as Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Henry V, Love's Labour's Lost, Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2. Well worth it
This book is terrific. It helps you navigate your way through buying a home. When you consider how costly errors can be in the entire process, this book is well worth the money.

Misleading title, uneven book
"Home Buying by the Experts--The Pros make your dream home a reality" is a very misleading title of what is essentially a 'tips' book. Just like another reviewer mentioned, don't make this the only home buying book that you read. This is strickly supplimental information, not any way a walk-thru of the home buying process.

The information provided is a mixed bag with eight contributors. Each author gives their favorite 'tips' for buying. There are a few good chapters on tax advanges & closing, and a lot of 'fluff' chapters on 'no money down' and 'moving'.

The reason I bought the book was because Bob Bruss had a part in it and he has a great syndicated column in newspapers. His contribution was not enough to make "Home Buying by the Experts" worthwhile. I would advise to skip this one and buy 'Home Buying for Dummies".

Great reference
The book is very well organized and extremely well written. It's the nuisance of the process that can make or break your investment and the entire process is accurately and simply defined in the book. Definitely worth the time if you are purchasing a home.

I DID laugh out loud.....
just reading the two page 'note to the guys' - it had me howling.The book continues in that fun way (at least 'the guy side' and I concur with others who realize it's not just funny - in fact it's NOT funny at all, if you don't know what the bleep is going on - but this book is there to give all the frame of reference and tools - as well as some, perhaps desperately needed! laughs.In the interest of full disclosure I live on the same street a block away and love and respect Herb and Elizabeth both very much - but I would never let any such relationship cause me to write something like this - I WAS compelled by my laughter, and certainly INSPIRED by it to write this.Great book to have or give!

A humorous read
The Princess and the PMS provides a funny, light read on a day you don't want to do much other than lay on the couch with your feet elevated. Although most of the information was not new to me, it is presented in a light hearted way that may take our minds off of our cramps and ease our latest moodswing a bit. I also enjoyed the flipside of the book (which I thought was a great idea), The Prince and the PMS. It is presented so that even a guy can understand it. Maybe they'll get it now! If you're looking to add a little humor to your cycle, or at least want reassurance that you in fact are not alone, this book will do it.

Entertaining, amusing but heavy on cliches
Princess and the PMS tries to keep light the serious subject of PMS.Perhaps it tries too hard to be funny.But the book has some good tips and I've tried many of them, like diet changes, and it does work. It is an easy and quick read and is a good book I would recommend for women who haven't done much research on their own.The Prince side (the flip side) is amusing, and while I wish all men would read it, I really can't see guys sitting down to read it.

A Good Toilet Read
The book was an easy read and enjoyable but not really something I jumped into or couldn't put down.It's a good book to keep by the toilet when you have a few extra minutes.I agree that it relied heavily on cliches about PMS, but there was some good advice as far as diet and daily routines.I think men would also enjoy the second half of the book, as I'm sure they can relate to those stereotypes of women and PMS.A cute book to give to a girl friend when it's that time of the month.

Not a lot of new information...
This book is at times amusing, but I find it relies too heavily on cliched man/woman stereotypes and witticisms. If you are fairly well versed in proper body care and nutrition, there isn't a lot that this book can teach you.
