Review of The Kind Diet
Alicia's book is a must read for anyone who cares about him/herself and the planet.I first fell in love with this style of living when I read The Greatest Diet On Earth by Karen Curinga The Greatest Diet on Earth.It is great to see that another equally inspiring book is out there for those of us who care and want to take control of our health and lives.

After I read my library copy, I ordered The Kind Diet for my 22-year old daughter.Alicia has a way of reaching out to young and old without being preachy.I've tried a number of her recipes and was amazed by how much I enjoyed them.If you're flirting with changing your food choices, this book will give you the reasons and the recipes to make it happen.

"The Kind Diet"
Having recently adopted a primarily, "plant-based diet", I am interested in finding cookbooks that support and inspire me. "The Kind Diet" has been very instrumental in helping me on this journey. I have found many recipes and hints that have made my transition very exciting and enjoyable!

There is one recipe that I question, and I wonder if there might be an error. The brownies definitely had too much leavening agent and I had to toss them - I will likely try them again with a modified amount of baking powder. I like most of the recommendations and appreciate the recommended brands for certain items - like cheese.

I recommend this book for anyone embarking upon a plant-based diet. And, I recommend a plant-based diet !!! I have had a fun-filled adventure! I have lost weight and cut my weekly grocery bill by 2/3's! I haven't had my blood work yet, but I anticipate that my blood stats have improved. I can now afford to buy mostly organic fruits and vegetables. I believe that I am protecting my body from many unhealthy chemicals with this diet - that includes GMOs, hormones, pesticides, additives, etc. !!! This diet is great for the planet, too !!!

Life Changing
I ordered this book thinking I could just use some healthy recipes mixed in with my usual recipes I use.I was surprised to find that the book actually changed the way I think about eating.I love how she includes research and doctors that have hard evidence what our food is doing to our bodies.I had no clue what was going on with the food I buy at the grocery store.I have been on the Kind Diet for two weeks now and I've never felt more alive in my life.I was surprised that I was able to lose weight fast in the process. At first my body was acting weird and I was kinda worried, but then I got to a chapter in her book that addressed the body detoxing and what happens during then.I'm amazed about all the information she had provided.To be honest.....her recipes weren't too appealing to me, but thanks to the internet I was able to find all sorts of amazing recipes.I think the first half of the book and all the information it has is worth buying the book.

Alicia Silverstone Fetchingly Ingenue
A very- pleasing book for all Teen-
Angst Fans- especially those of Alicia's
the "Aerosmith Chick". For those of us
who LOVE Drooling over Alicia- and everything
she's in- you'll want to get this book to
add to your Collection. One very nice and
interesting tid bit of information is that
she- Alicia, now believes that her religion
is simply knowing herself and knowing who
the most important people in her life are-
As opposed to an organized religion. This
book features many pictures in Black and White
and none of which that are in color. One really
rare pict. that I have not seen before is featured in
this book- it is with Alicia and her brother
and two parents. I would have given this book
a Higher rating if there were some color pictures
in it- and not just Black and White ones.
All in all a good- read, but, Don't expect Alicia's
Life story, this is just a Bird's Eye view of it. ... Read more

It told a lot of info on Alicia's movies
I thought the book was really good. It listed Alicia's roles in movies and told about all the co-stars in the them,and other important info onhermovies.I also thought the part about the make-up was interesting. I am avery big fan of Alicia and I have done a lot of research on her and I thinkthis book tells a lot.

FOR TEEN GIRLS
This bokk is written for teenagers, girls specifically. Instead of informing the reader and the Alicia's fans about her life, career and curiosities, the book often escapes the subject and goes into long detailsabout how to make-up, how to dress, even how to connect to the Internet.There are 16 pages of bad quality black & white photos. Though apocket-book, it should have more quality. Better choose another biographyof the actress.

Greatest Book on Alicia Silverstone
It was a very good book, full of everything about Alicia Silverstone.The web sites at the end were very neat too.Jason lists every movie that Alicia has done from the Domino's Pizza commercial to Excess Baggage.I'ma big Alicia fan, so this book is really cool.A must have.

It is a good book!
I have read this book cause I am a very big fan of Alicia and her work since I first saw her onscreen!It is a great book with a lot information but what I really disliked is that it is not an authorized bio and so I guess a lot of whats in the book can`t be 100% true!!!One other big mistake is that Alicia`s dog Samson was always pronounced wrong-Sampson! But in the whole it was a great book and I hope there will be more bios about her which are authorized!!!!!

Even die-hard Alicia fans will be dissapointed by this book.
Jason Rich offers nothing of any value in his book.The book simply tells us all the things that we already knew about Alicia, without getting into details, and without exploring contreversial issues such as her weight problem.Most of this book is filled with "filler" giving us career notes on her co-stars in various movies. AS IF we care!More information can be gathered in 1 hour on the internet, or by reading one article on Alicia.Mr. Rich also writes every sentence as if he is trying to please Alicia and her family.Mr. Rich, you wasted our time! ...
