Excerpt: Paul Gallen (born 14 August 1981 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks of the National Rugby League. Gallen's position of choice is in the Second Row though he has also frequently played at lock and occasionally at five-eighth. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative, Gallen is known for his tremendous workrate in both attack and defence and also the chronic ill-discipline throughout his career. Interesting and Educational!
"Slow Train Through Vietnam's War" was the most interesting article.It tells of the 689-mile route from Saigon to Hue, under constant attack (300 in the last 12-months) as it hugs the coastline in route.At the head of the train were three flatbed cars loaded with ballast to detonate any pressure mines, thus avoiding damage to the engine.About 16 engines have been ruined so far this year, despite the trains carrying three armored cars and 30 guards.The route opened in 1936 and had carried 2 million passengers/year, though that has fallen with the violence.
