In the fall of 1987, during a mission trip to Uruguay, the author began reading sections ofDr. James Meikle's "Miscellaneous Meditations". The depth of scriptural insight thewriter revealed was so thought provoking he determined to find a personal volumeof the book for himself.

When he returned to the United States he began searching book stores, bookdealers and some book outlets in England. It took over 5 years of searching to finda volume of good quality that he could purchase.

Realizing the quality of the writing and the scarcity of such in-depth literatureit is the author's desire to provide a publication that will enrich the lives of serious mindedreaders in this age.

A special thanks to Dr. Clifford Clark, who has given encouragement and godlycounsel regarding the format and areas in need of editing.
