Community members’ ideas and plans for how to restore the natural beauty of their communities are implemented. Providing a link between past and present, students are placing educational signs along the trails to describe traditional, medicinal, and modern uses of plants and areas. Village residents are involved in the students’ activities, providing the historical knowledge and skills needed for environmental restoration.

Here's what you can TRY to get Indian keypals (most Indian schools so far do not have emailboxes for the kids). Access the various school webpages here, and email the computer teacher, whose name is (usually) on it for Webmaster. Ask if they are interested in keypals with your students, and how it should be arranged.
