Programs of Excellence - Individual and Family Financial Management Arkansas State Curriculum/Program: Money Management for Youth Program Relevance : Many youth go from piggy banks to credit cards with little or no resource management eduction in-between. Youth need educational programs and resources to learn basic principles of resource management they will use for the remainder of their life. Program Quality : A wide variety of research-based programs are available for use by Arkansas Extension professionals in the area of resource management for youth audiences. Curriculum are available for pre-school through high school aged youth. Additional programs are designed for parents to use when teaching basic financial management principles to their children. The curricula includes a wide variety of teaching methods, which include traditional 4-H project books, as well as programs for school enrichment, day camps, pre-school, and after school programs.
