Joseph Curran, Jr., announced today that, in conjunction with National Consumer Protection Week (February 14-20), he will be issuing the "Tuff Customer" quiz to students across Maryland. The quiz was designed to educate high school students about issues such as how to shop for a used car, how to use a credit card wisely, and how to avoid job-related scams. In addition to visiting three schools in Maryland, General Curran's Consumer Protection Division has sent copies of the quiz and a teacher's discussion guide to every public school in the state in an attempt to further educate as many young consumers as possible.
