Mohamad Ghanoum Mohamad Ghanoum, born 1949 in Damascus and grown up in Syria is one of the greatest Calligraphers in the arab world. I first heard of him on an exhibition in the syrian embassy in Bonn, Germany in february 1997 which was organized by the Deutsch-Arabische Gesellschaft e.V. If you watch these wonderful pictures carefully, you can see verses from the Holy Qur'an and words like home, love or Damascus, which describes the artists feelings and thoughts.
