Hello! Thanks for dropping by today. I'd like to tell you a few things about myself so that you can get to know me a little better. I look forward to having a chance to get to know you, too. My friends call me Dave. Allow me to share some personal details. In addition to founding ePowerBiz, I run a systems management consulting company called Caribbean e-Ventures Group, based in West Palm Beach, Florida. In my work, I consult with companies and government agencies implementing or considering the implementation of new e-business information systems, and help them to estimate system costs and return on investment, design the systems, and manage the implementation. That's how I was able to identify and develop the tools, techniques, templates and training that eventually became ePowerBiz!
One aspect of the consulting lifestyle that I especially enjoy is the ability to work on projects related to my interests. The project that I'm currently managing involves developing a real estate information system for a government agency. The agency will be using the system to manage the purchase of large quantities of land in South Florida; the land will be used for the restoration of the Florida Everglades, which have been endangered by overdevelopment.
Prior to starting ePowerBiz and Caribbean, I held consultant, manager and director positions with KPMG Consulting, Computer Sciences Corporation, Oracle and Answerthink Consulting Group. I also spent several years as an Army officer.
