Abstract: Brief explanation (with help of field's theories applied on micro strip lines and on waveguides) of very possible functions of ancient temple complexes built near some Egyptian pyramids. Introduction
Principles

Appropriate theoretical formulas for description of electromagnetic facilities of here mentioned microwave circuits and components are for example in [1] Stripline circuit design (Harlan, Howe, JR) Microwave Associates Burlington Mass. (Chapter 6).
Fact, that dimensions of temples, of their chambers, rooms, corridors were many times bigger than dimensions of their plans (of electrical circuits) speaks only it, that were used various sorts of waves [2] with different wave speeds and lengths (these in direct ratio influence construction dimensions). Valid is [1,3,4,5] general (for electromagnetic or acoustic or other similar field) wave equation

Here a view of the Pyramid-Plateau of Gizeh. In the modern research one goes
out in the meantime with it that the Pyramids - in particular the Sphinx -
could have a substantially higher Age, as so far accepted.
Newer Analyses and Interpretations let assume
an Age of 10.000 to 12.000 years. A Marsface . Whether they really artificial origin are, is however disputed. The Pyramid-City on Mars with the Marsface (Cydonia region),

The fact that there is burial places of old Pharaons is long as disproved recognized - there more puts behind. The Egyptian culture developed - just like the sumerische (the Sumerer built the first large and monumental stone temples) - relatively quickly. Quasi from that nothing out - thus without cultural preliminary stages - was it suddenly there! Too quickly, in order to achieve on normal development way one solch` enormous knowledge conditions. Who thus arranged these universal knowledge for them? I am personal the conviction that at least one civilization of ower ahead went! References there are more than sufficient and the time before 10.000 to 12.000 years possibly plays thereby a key
role. At that time the sintflut, which is not an invention of the Bible, was supposed but most probably actually took place. In the connection in addition the cultures of Atlantis, Mu and perhaps also the cultures of Sodom and Gomorrha, described in the Bible, disappeared.

The Similarities/ Differences Between Mesopotamian and Egyptian Inventions By: Keith And Nelson Mesopotamian Inventions
In this web page we will be talking about the differences and similarities between Egyptian and Mesopotamian inventions. We will mainly talk about what the inventions were called, and how they were used, and most importantly how they affected life then and how they do now. We think that if a lot of the inventions that they discovered weren't invented it would have a great effect on life today. A lot of the inventions that the two civilizations created were ahead of their time.
One of the Mesopotamian inventions was in form of writing, which they named "Cuneiform." The word cuneiform meant " wedge shaped. " The writing was originally made for taking an account of what they bought or sold. Cuneiform was written on clay tablets with a pointed reed which was called the stylus. The word cuneiform comes from the latin words: "cuneus," which means "wedge" and "forma," which means "shaped." Mesopotamia wrote on clay tablets while the clay was still wet. Writing allowed a lot of laws to be written. Other important things such as the recording important events, had a big part in life in the ancient world. It also made it easier for this day and age to understand what type of people the Mesopotamians were. The most important invention that was created in the ancient times is probably the wheel. The Sumerians, ( a civilization in ancient Mesopotamia) invented the wheel. The wheels were used to connect on chariots. It made it easier for them to get places faster. "It was one of the biggest inventions in history." This world would not be the same without the wheel. The wheel was used to move things without it being a heavy load. The wheel was probably the most important invention in from Mesopotamia.

Saqqara Step Pyramid Cick here for more pyramids: Pyramids 2 xt The Saqqara Step Pyramid in the ancient egyptian capital of Memphis, lies 20 miles southwest of Cairo. This is the oldest of the royal pyramids. It was built for King Djoser (Zoser: 2667 - 2648 BC), the second of the Third Dynasty pharaohs in the 27th-century B.C. by the architect Imhotep. The original structure was an underground burial chamber. This chamber was rare in that it was square; most mastabas were rectangular. The royal tomb is 28m underground with a vertical shaft leading to it. The entrance was sealed with a 3 ton piece of granite. The chamber walls have inscriptions that show beyond any doubt that this is indeed a burial chamber. It also contains offering rooms and most of the other features that were often found in both earlier and later tombs. The pyramid is composed of six receding layers on top of each other. A man can be seen standing to the right of center of its base.

Egypt is home to the most famous pyramids of all, three well-formed examples located at Giza on the outskirts of Cairo.  Just as there are pyramids throughout the world, it should come as no surprise that Egypt has more than just these three.  Egyptologists have actually catalogued over 90 major pyramids that were built over the course of 1,000 years (roughly 2600-1550 BC). All the pyramids can be found close to the west bank (none on the east bank) of the Nile, with the majority found along a 17-kilometre stretch incorporating Abu Ghurob, Saqqara and Dashur.  Giza is 11 kilometres further north.  Because of their size and relative proximity, when visiting a site it is quite normal to see other pyramids on the horizon.

Historical Egyptian Sites - Pharaonic Tombs other than Pyramids While most Egyptian pyramids are considered tombs, they are covered in our list and special section on pyramids . Also, while most royal tombs had mortuary and sometimes valley temple associated with them, most of these are covered in our special section on temples and our temple list ), though the temples associated with pyramids are covered in the section on pyramids . Finally, we also have a list of other monuments not specific to pyramids, temples or tombs. For additional comprehensive information see Monuments in Egypt Abydos by Marie Parsons Abydos, or Abjdu, lies in the eight nome of Upper Egypt, about 300 miles south of Cairo, on the western side of the Nile and about 9.5 miles from the river. It spreads over 5 square miles and contains archaeological remains from all periods of ancient Egyptian history. It was significant in historical times as the main cult center of Osiris, the lord of the netherworld. At the mouth of the canyon at Abydos, which the Egyptians believed to be the entrance to the underworld, one of the tombs of the 1st dynasty kings was mistaken for the tomb of Osiris, a thousand years later, and pilgrims would leave offerings to the god for another thousand years. The area is thus now called Umm el Qa’ab, "Mother of Pots."

Also, links to the web often change. Tell your teacher when you find a poor link in this guide.
    The Task
You will tour and read about several pyramids, as well as the Sphinx. After you have visited all of them, you will chose one that you are especially interested in. Take notes and sketch it, or print out the information on it. Use this information to make a baseball style trading card based on the pyramid of your choice. There will be an illustration on the front, and statistics on the back of the card.

http://www.svenbugarski.de/travel/Africa/Aegypten/Aegypten.html
Egypt One of the major destinations in Africa. In my opinion this country doesn't represent the "real" Africa: wide plains with wildlife, traditional villages etc. are rather found in countries further south. If you don't care about thousands of tourists around you and if you are more interested in historical sights than adventures beyond civilization, Egypt can definitely offer you very much. I've only visited Cairo and Alexandria (with my girlfriend in April 1997), so I will concentrate on these two cities. Alexandria Situated at the Mediterranean Sea, it has a very long and nice promenade (see picture) along the coast. At the beginning of April it was too cold to go swimming, but also in Summer time I would avoid untouristy beaches, because especially European females might get in trouble with conservative locals. The center of Alexandria is quite pleasant and it's easy to get oriented. The only major sight that I can remember was the Citadel of Qaitbay, an old fortress at the shore. Citadel of Qaitbay coastal promenade in Alexandria Caroline and me in the center of Alexandria tram Cairo A very large city with well over 10 million inhabitants, quite modern and safe enough for the average visitor. As the pyramids of Gizeh are situated at the outskirts of Cairo, you definitely should not miss to visit Cairo, when in Egypt. When you travel individually (like I did in Egypt with a friend), be careful! Comparing all the countries, I have been to so far, I experienced the nastiest tourist business in Egypt. For many Egyptians, a European tourist is often not more than a walking purse with a lot of money. In contrast to other countries, where people try to sell you things all the time and tell you higher prices (which is normal in many countries), I had contact to many locals in Cairo, who treated me in a very bad and annoying way, lacking any respect. Two examples:
