The refuge staff is ready to assist you before, during and after your visit to the Deer Flat Visitor Center. Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is open to school groups during normal office hours, with presentations available on a reservation basis. Refuge personnel can provide a brief introduction and orientation to the refuge, or some other presentation based on a topic of your choosing. These short talks usually last 20-30 minutes in length.
