Mission Statement: The Indiana Prevention Resource Center (IPRC) was established in 1987 to assist Indiana-based alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) prevention programs improve the quality of their services. Our primary target audience is the community of prevention professionals and volunteers, and government officials who are providing or monitoring delivery of ATOD prevention programs to Indiana residents. Math and Science Fun at IU East for Young Students
December 20, 2002 The Indiana University East Division of Natural Science and Mathematics will sponsor Family Science and Math Fun Night. Activities will allow family members of various ages to interact in fun and educational ways while they solve puzzles, conduct experiments and play games constructed from common materials. The Family Science and Math Fun Night is a combination of two successful programs. Family Science, developed by the University of Oregon, provides a non-threatening approach to learning about scientific processes and concepts. Family Math, developed by the Lawrence Hall of Science of the University of California, Berkeley, uses hands-on materials to help students and parents develop number sense, problem-solving strategies, estimation, and logical thinking skills. Both programs stress cooperative learning activities and are designed to be supportive of all students, especially young women and racial minorities. The Indiana Center for Family, School and Community Partnerships coordinates the two programs in Indiana and trains Family Math and Family Science facilitators.

The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University agreed in 1999 to compile and distribute the Million Dollar List to ensure that his unique record of significant gifts is continued, as a service to fundraisers, as a document for historians, and as an example for donors. Frantzreb has been an advisor to the Center on Philanthropy since its founding in 1987 and recently completed a term as a consulting member to the Center's Board of Governors.
