Other accommodations include hostels, private homes, educational institutions or small hotels. Language prerequisite: 3 recent semesters of college-level French and the ability to follow coursework in French. Credit: Students usually receive 4.00 course credits while on SIT programs - 0.50 credit of Methods and Techniques of Field Study (recorded as anthropology credit), 1.00 credit of Independent Study, 1.50 credits of Seminar, and 1.00 credit of Intensive Language Study.
