  • This competition is being conducted in two phases. The qualifying round of the competition requires student teams solve an authentic problem encountered in the AQUA Satellite Mission and mail in their solution to the problem. Teams must consist of 2 - 6 interested secondary school students in Grades 9 through 12. Each team must have either a teacher, school staff member, or school approved adult as a team member who will be responsible for the members of that team. The solution must clearly describe what should be done to address the stated problem and the rational for each decision. No information identifying the school, or the team can appear on the solution.
