Description Ready Reports® software is a flexible tool for reporting/querying your own norm-referenced test results. Ready Reports® permits you to order disks containing your data combined with built-it software for report generation. You can edit student demographics and easily transfer student data to new classrooms or buildings. Ready Reports® is particularly useful if you disaggregate data. Each report allows you to select students based on special codes and/or student performance. Schools should keep this feature in mind when they code the tests prior to testing. Schools can now access data and information about special program participants (such as gifted), attitudes about school, etc. This can provide valuable data to help make educational decisions. The new graphing module allows schools to present data in 3D and color. Missouri schools can use Ready Reports® to access the Lexile Frameworks which match a student's SAT 9 reading score with a scaled level of reading text. Schools can use this information to satisfy state reading mandates. The Pathfinder report gives a list of literature titles customized to the student's reading level. The Roster Report lists students in alphabetical or Lexile measure score order. Once Lexile meansures are available, students, parents, teachers, etc. can access the Lexile website

http://www.ksu.edu/artsci/phpp/preoptom.html
Pre-Optometry
Pre-Optometry is not a degree granting program. Any student wishing to apply to an optometry program completes courses required for his/her major, completes courses required by the optometry school and scores well on the Optometry Admission Test (OAT). A bachelor's degree is required before graduating from optometry school. Professional school requirements vary and some courses not listed here may be useful, so consultation with the Pre-Optometry advisor is recommended. Visit the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry web site ( www.opted.org ) for school-specific information. Prerequisites and application deadlines change. Every effort is made to keep KSU curriculum guides up to date. They are reviewed regularly and modified when changes are made at the professional schools. Advisors are diligent in maintaining regular contact with representatives from the professional schools. Because the ultimate authority on prerequisites is the professional school, students are encouraged to verify that their coursework fulfills requirements with representatives of the professional schools. Students who have taken prerequisite courses at colleges or universities other than KSU should verify with representatives of the professional schools that this coursework fulfills the requirements they intended it to fulfill. Web addresses and contact information for representatives for each school are provided on the curriculum guides. The following courses are required by most optometry schools:
