Teacher Certification Instructional Employment Teacher Certification/Licensure in the District of Columbia To apply for a license to teach in the District of Columbia Public Schools, candidates must complete an application, submit a $30 money order, and turn in official transcripts from all universities you have attended to the Office of Academic Credentialing and Accreditation on the 6th floor of the central administration building at 825 North Capitol Street.
