Staff Development Opportunities 2002-2003 Health/Safety Risk Management The following training and assistance programs will be available upon request from BOCES. Any questions you may have can be directed to the Safety Office at the Central Administrative Office. Drug and Alcohol Testing BOCES will coordinate with your school district and the drug and alcohol testing service, Partners in Safety in Middleton, New York, to assist districts in meeting all requirements for drug and alcohol testing of bus drivers. We will coordinate, provide or assist in providing: Contractual services with Partners in Safety for specimen collection and laboratory work Proper record keeping Update rosters of all bus drivers Policy development Site visits Liaison assistance between districts and Partners in Safety Set-up and maintenance of record keeping to assure privacy of information Supervisors will receive reasonable suspicion training for the identification and documentation needed to call for a reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test.
