Welcome to Oregon!
The state of oregon is a great piece of land. Consisting of mostly farm land in the east. In the west however, from the coast to the pacific mountain range is a lush, beautiful land. The rain from the pacific all falls on the western side of the mountains. So for 10 months out of the year, we are blessed with a wonderful amount of clean rain! With the rain comes a wide variety of wildlife and plants.... that is why oregon is the beaver state! Even in the icy winter the normal apparel of a resident consists of open toed sandals, shorts, and a T-shirt. So come to our state, and visit the wonders that reside within. If you are interested in visiting Oregon, try out travel-oregon to see what we have to offer! Try some of these links!

The people and tourism industry of Oregon highly value culture and resources, and intend to have tourism develop in a way that does not damage either natural settings or change community character. This project, conducted with the Oregon Tourism Commission in 2001, served to educate the industry and communities on the benefits of sustainable tourism, and to design the transition to sustainability by the Oregon tourism industry.
