VOW maintains a working relationship with land management agencies to accomplish this end. The Wallingford Community Senior Center offers seniors the opportunity to maintain their independence and dignity by providing programs and services that enhance their social, physical, and mental well being. Volunteers are vital to implementing these services. Our volunteer opportunities range from office assistance, special events staffing and coordination, every day program support, cooking, intergenerational programming, direct service in our monthly dining events, and class and program assistance. US State Government Aid The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to apply for most state loan, grant and scholarship programs, in addition to the federal loans and grants. When you submit the FAFSA to the US Department of Education, they forward the information on the form to the state student assistance agency. Each state has a different FAFSA submission deadline. If you submit your FAFSA by March 1, you will be in time for all state deadlines, other than Michigan.
